So much hate in these posts. I must have missed the article that talked about how it's wrong to be excited about a video game anymore.

@Raso719: Ah I get your point. To tell you the truth, I definitely hit episodes I couldn't care less about (political ones, to be exact). It sucks that they couldn't relieve the problem of paranoia early in the show, but it definitely opened it up to some twists.

@Raso719: I'm sure FTL travel and sentient AI, along with many other elements of the show, ARE sci-fi. And I for one have read many sci-fi novels, seen movies, shows, and played games in the same genre to have a pretty good opinion of what is and what isn't sci fi.

@CuttySark: If you loved WaW, this might hit the spot for you since it's Treyarch making it. They have nifty weapons this time too, like that crossbow, and the cool ballistics knife. If you're really worried, wait until the reviews are out.

@Char Aznable: I'm pretty sure that when Fallout 4 info comes out, one of the main points will be the change in engine, or at least a major upgrade of it. I can't see them milking the franchise anymore if they continue with the current setup.

@Spunkie: I see it more as the icing on the cake (which may or may not be a lie). I sometimes find myself admiring the small things in games sometimes, though I think this may bring more character to Gordon Freeman's image.

@Konstantin Art: I was always a bit fascinated by how Halo showed the character's legs if you looked straight down, but a bit sad they didn't work on much besides that until Reach.

@BigDikJohnson: The concept though is amazing. This is what FPS needs to get into now. Some games are already heading in this direction, such as Metro 2033, or some of the CoDs. The main character needs more dynamic animation as shown as opposed to the static we usually see.

@00000000: Yeah, don't get me wrong though. I seriously hate it when people want "their" games "now". Most have no idea how much work and time it takes to make these games, and that they don't just grow off of a game tree.
