Stage racing won’t disappear because NASCAR likes the artificial drama that “3 checkered flags” in one race bring. I agree it has no place in racing but NASCAR doesn’t care.

It would be impossible to do any track “on the fly”. At best, they might be able to switch it up with a day or two notice. If it occurs when fans are there though.... yeah, the infield is going to be a problem.

Which is a shame because the biggest reason I got the CX-3 was due to it’s compact size.  There aren’t many bite-size CUVs/SUVs under 168 inches with AWD.

A mini CX-5 at that.  I wonder if they will bump up the size of the HR-V to directly compete with the CX-30, as opposed to the CX-3 (which really should be rebranded as a CX-2).

Ending was definitely going to have a crash because that’s what happens at Daytona.  The mid part of the race (basically from whenever the Big One happens until 10 to go) saps almost all energy from the race.  These races aren’t as exciting as the mid 90s to about 2007 races.
