As long as Brienne, Gendry and the Hound show up at some point, I'm in.

Sounds like it's time for Littlefinger to remember the words of House Baelish: "Look out for number one."

Jaime realizes, late in Storm of Swords (before rescuing Tyrion), after talking with Cersei, that it must have been Joffrey trying to impress King Robert.

Varys, in ep. 3.6, The Climb.

"Hmmm, the number of Starks formerly thought dead, but now here in Winterfell and who all despise me, is rising at an alarming rate. Perhaps it's time to teleport my ass out of here."

The answer is in the third novel, Storm of Swords: Jaime realizes, after talking with Cersei, that Joffrey sent the assassin in an attempt to impress King Robert.

"Kingslayer, they call me… Well screw it, now I'm also THE QUEENSLA—"
"Don't even fookin' think about it."

Oh. This isn't the "gone wild" I was looking for.

Greene & Greene's unique craftsman homes represent my favorite architectural period ever. The Gamble House and the other Greene homes in that neighborhood in Pasadena, just wonderful. (That bookstore in the Gamble House garage, with the beautiful lamps and clocks and everything craftsman, is delightful.)

If Jennifer Coolidge is in it, then I'm there.

It sounds like the temporary working title, but then they couldn't come up with a good one, so they said screw it.

I'll bet you love those women whose screenname or e-mail address is like "(Someone)'sMom".

Based on her stage performance featured on a few eps of Inside Amy Schumer, it will be much more foul than you described.

“3, 2, 1, Funny, GO!”

Sure, but there's actually tons of interesting items and conversations there. Subs for various TV series, for practical advice, gaming, photography, also NSFW stuff of course… And I think the website itself is well designed, at least for laptop/desktop use.

It might be hard to escape if you use the main front page, or a general unfiltered Reddit newsfeed of some kind, but there's tons of individual subreddits that have practically no such crap at all. It's like TV channels; hide the garbage ones from the guide, and only watch those you enjoy.

Yes yes, various political subreddits, blah blah… Or, you can visit Reddit for myriad other interests and avoid politics almost entirely — which is a hell of a lot easier to do on Reddit than on the AV Club.

Enhancements?

Counterpoint: Perhaps it's more like the numerous hours worth of The Sopranos that didn't depict violence (and I don't just mean Carmela's and the kids' storylines), but were still fascinating crime drama.

Yeah, it was pretty lame. They got the tedious aspect down, I guess.
