I was a boy growing up in the 1980s, and I remember reading at least some of this book, hoping to learn things about girls. Today I wonder whether tweens can find this kind of novel "contemporary"…
Despite its frankness on sexuality and issues of adolescence that will always resonate, it now also depicts a bygone

My favorite promos were the "On the next Arrested Development" tags, which showed scenes that did not actually appear.

Major breakthrough for Chuck, clearly, and boy is Michael McKean doing great work. Jeez, that supermarket full of glaring lights and freezers was *not* the baby steps the doctor suggested!

In my two score years on this earth, I have never once heard anyone pronounce it "ree-sees." There is nothing unusual or confusing about the completely obvious correlation between the spelling and correct pronunciation. WTF?

Somehow this trio of ladies is causing me some titillation. For further sinning, consult Plaza in Ned Rifle, Micucci in Easy, and Brie in the forthcoming GLOW.

That potential screening idea of "It" sounds wacky. What a bunch of clowns.

Anyone interested in the Myst games should definitely check out the excellent Myst III: Exile (2001), which I expect has been overlooked by the newer generation of puzzle game fans, as it's never been ported to modern platforms (Steam, iPad) like Myst and Riven were. But the DVD version is playable on Windows 7/8/10

Could another problem be Guy Ritchie? I enjoyed both of his Sherlock Holmes films quite a lot (for the wacky, fluffy romps they are), but I seem to be in a small minority; tons of people love to slam him as a director.

Old legends and epics don't get supplanted by new literature — the literary world just gets larger. Shakespeare adaptations will continue to be made, all around the world, because the plays are rich and fascinating. I'd say the same can apply to folklore.

No. The whole thing should have been done decades ago.

That would be awesome. Perhaps they could get Tim Curry to do voiceover.

Pfff! What a ripoff. I demand Estelle, or GettyTFO.
