I'm afraid I am rather a completist. Also I enjoy cross-referencing.
Oh man, I still haven't gotten around to Veronica Mars, and now apparently I need to check out Lost Girl, and iZombie, and… agghghhh! So little time!
Awesome. James Marsters' interviews, panel appearances, etc., have always been enthusiastic and involved and interesting. This one is no exception. So great.
Who’s the most underrated character on the show?
JM: Giles.
The invincible Mayor becomes a big snake, and Oh yay, now he can be killed! Pretty easily in fact! Something is indeed a bit underwhelming about that finale, strange though it may seem to call such a big-scale and exciting episode as Graduation Day underwhelming. I think the Faith/Buffy fight remains the greatest…
"Moist towelette?"
Yes, yes… OK, but Xander going out for the swim team could have been included in the plot of another episode somehow, while sparing us the terrible story and unusually lame dialogue of Go Fish.
The big bad for S3 wasn't just the Mayor — it was the Mayor and Faith together. When Joss realized how immediately compelling Eliza Dushku was, despite her age (she was only 17 when they started filming S3), her guest role was expanded to include a fortuitous teaming-up with Wilkins. The rest is history.
Hmmm… So much for Buffy Week.
Yup, we talked about it under the Crazy Ex episode reviews; my post here was a bit brief.
The header image reminds me… Fun fact: If you like musicals, you may enjoy Rachel Bloom in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on the CW (featuring an amazing number of original songs aping every style imaginable), which filmed a few scenes on the very same bridge as seen in Once More With Feeling. http://vignette3.wikia.noco…
Buffy has way too many great episodes to choose a varied handful for a binge — plus you'd lose the story through-lines. But what about binges from specific eras of the show? For S2&3, for example, if you wanted an enjoyable run of strong but not-deadly-serious eps, you could do worse than School Hard, Halloween, Lie…
Ah, Restless — now *there's* a wonderfully weird thing to watch mid-binge at 4am.
There clearly a "ffffff—" after that "Aww".
Nice interview with Nick, really, his candor is refreshing and I'm happy this seemed to go so well. Surprising that the Xander/Faith interactions didn't come up, especially given his mention of enjoying Harry Groener as the Mayor. I'd think The Zeppo was a major highlight for him in more ways than one.

Dunno… Why did a small male stuntman double for a large lunch lady in Earshot? These are the great mysteries of life.
I was just going to mention that. When the GOP saw in Arnold a possible candidate with wide appeal, rather like Reagan, of course they envisioned doing whatever it might take to make him eligible. The whole stupid "birther" nonsense in 2008 would then have been moot.
I tell you what: Put that phrase on a hat, shout a bunch of nonsense at gullible people, and you might just end up in charge of the industry.
