I still contend that the episodes he wrote for Girls are better than all the episodes Dunham, Konner, and Apatow scripted themselves. He's so fucking good with character work.

The water and soap will trickle down on them and do most of the work. Every now and then you'll actually wanna scrub those suckers, though, when it gets gross and if anything builds up. But that's more rare.

There are people with disagreeing opinions and there are assholes. Some assholes will have disagreeing opinions and some will say things you agree with but will still remain assholes. Some people will disagree with you but remain alright.

Don't worry, everyone from Socrates to Gore Vidal didn't think straight about it either.

It's California. Us guys suck out here.

Dunno about "break-up songs", more "break-up" music moods. One time, I listened to nothing but Nick Cave. Late last year, I listened to The National's "Start A War" for 7 hours straight.

Eh, out of all of R.E.M., he made a decent choice (that and "Across the Sun").

You know those shows that no one you know watches, and you see it, and you shake the people you know saying "you really need to watch this"? This is that show. Perfect balance of light and dark.

Happens to the best of us.

Very true. And I hope it continues. It makes the environment better for women, and also makes it better for the men, too.

Well, it's supposed to be that structure, but all of comedy is much more political than that, NYC, LA, Chicago, etc.

UCB is, among other comedy houses, pay-to-play, at least for the classes. But to get the primo spots, you're not just discovered. Oftentimes, you've got to be there morning, noon, and night, essentially doing pro bono intern work, while paying money for the comedy classes, networking, etc.

Well, I think we're well past "rape is bad." We're at "why are we still raping?" and "let's solve this whole rape thing." We're past general awareness and at microscopic breakdowns and action. Both men and women are needed for that, and men are especially needed for.

Maybe he wants a victim to play with his arsehole?
