I was confused by the headline. Normally when something "killed on Broadway," that means it was very successful.

It's a good thing the commenters here are around to remind us who the REAL victims are when a man is falsely accused of rape: Feminists on the Internet who weren't involved in any way!

This is not a gyrocracy. This is a CHEER-ocracy!

To be fair, there was a little bit to it, and the author of True Detective has gone out of his way to make sure people know that: http://jezebel.com/did-a-ho…

Nowalk's long article just on Gunsmoke is linked both within the article and above in the comments. Given character limits, he probably decided not to retread that ground here (but maybe he should have made the link more prominent).

McGoohan didn't act in the "tisn't" episode; he just directed it. (He also directed by didn't act in the fairly weak Billy Connolly episode.)

When I was a poster on Fametracker and the early version of TWoP, my username was "Beaujolais Columbo" after a line McGoohan says in "Identity Crisis."

Nicol Williamson was born in Scotland and grew up in Scotland and England.

Both questions — "Does Mrs. Columbo exist?" and "Wasn't Mrs. Columbo played by Kate Mulgrew?" — are answered here: http://www.columbo-site.fre…

Unlike Ricardo Montalban.
