I would say it's in Rust's character to be wordy, though. It's dialogue, it's allowed to be flawed because it's writing filtered through character.

that certainly isn't incomprehensible mishmash. It makes complete sense to me.

I would call it "ambitious" over "pretentious." It seems like nowadays, trying hard/effort is seen as some embarrassing pretension.

I totally do the "he or she" thing when I talk. Or I'm just like, "Is your doctor a man or a woman?" and then say the right gender. I mean I even do it when I talk about dogs. I like being gender-accurate! It does make things a little awkward sometimes though.

I agree completely. The moral unambiguity of Lester and Malvo (ok, I get it, they're both relentless sociopaths) killed the show for me.

Especially since the show has been going into more emotionally heavy content lately, with Finn's weird teenage hormones, sadness, and disappointment in his father… it was kind of jarring to go from "nothing is fun

I thought the animation was really good, but the story reminded me consistently that I was, indeed, watching children's programming. I'd say this was one of my least favorite episodes of AT, and I also really disliked A Glitch Is A Glitch. (I disliked Glitch a lot more after I found out that the animation of the girl
