@ Dr. Robuttnik - you got two out of three. The quit-smoking-or-we-cut-off-your-fingers was in I think Cat's Eye. James Woods, if memory serves.

Hell, they skipped over all of Big World, which is my personal favorite.

Come and see the violence inherent in the system…

Never even heard of
It's About Time before today. Given my screen name, I shall have to seek it out asap.

Seattle:
Where does Bill Gates live
Where does Justin Beiber live
Where does oil come from
Where does Dave Matthews live
Where does Alaska Airlines fly
Where does Eddie Vedder live
Where does translation occur
Where does oxidative phosphorylation occur

I watched Bullitt and The Exorcist, one right after the other. Read a bunch of comics as well.

Best weather Seattle has seen on a July 4 weekend in maybe ever. Thoroughly pleasant and drama-free on the home front.

@ Miller - "(the Pops does the second-worst version of Bohemian Rhapsody I've ever heard)" - who does the first? For me it's thiese guys: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

No mention of Inglourious Basterds?
I re-watched it a couple of weeks ago; for whatever reason it didn't seem to hold up as well as I'd have expected. But Martin Wuttke losing his shit was pretty funny.

I don't like the sound of these 'ere Boncentration Bamps.

Prophylactic. Or abortion.

@ UnpossibleManeuver - be careful what you wish for.

You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time.

You know, I drive by there just about every day and have yet to go in. I think I will this weekend.

In violation
of Federal Law 18 USC 333.

Waters did it first!

Archmage, can't you cast some sort of spell to stop all the double posts? It's rampant today.

Motorhead first, Ken Bishop's Nice Twelve doing "Subterrenean Homesick Blues" a very close second.

I loved the Young Ones but haven't checked them out recently. The Comic Strip, though - especially "Dirty Movie" - was fantastic.

I remember that…
