I'm conflicted because when I watched it for the first time last year, the visiting girl kinda threw me out of the rhythm.

Villain: "Move any closer and I'll have to destroy your ship! You can't go to that moon."
Picard: "Why not?"
Villain: "Because…BECAUSE I SAID SO!"
Picard to Troi: "Thoughts?"
Troi: "I believe he's hiding something. He has a secret but I'm not sure what."
Guinan's talk with Riker in Best of Both Worlds is probably the greatest scene in the show's history for me (I won't argue with Four Lights, just a personal preference)
Sorry to hear to that. Hope at least your medical stuff is better.
It's nice to see the upvotes because I often feel like the only person in the awkward space of knowing my aversion to alcohol would have made enjoying dorm life difficult yet feeling like I missed out on the social aspects of college
Honestly the part that might've fallen flat more than anything for me was the ghosting joke. Sometimes the show pushes the Kimmy is stupid cringe humor a bit too far for me.
It was in the top 3 for me just off the Duke/Titus stuff, which is prob the first time the show has ever made me absolutely laugh to the point of crying. I also took the other stuff as more of a dig at men who freak out after rejection than the tired millennial/safe space stuff, though I hadn't put a ton of thought…
That's fair but Sawyer is also an incredibly high bar.
"They've survived Barry Allen, so lord knows they can survive the likes of you"
Segarra wouldn't quite make the cut for me (the field is just too loaded these days esp in supporting) but the DC shows and The 100 have certainly earned noms. I was frustrated to see a lot of them aren't even submitted, like Neal McDonough in the Guest Category last year. He totally deserved a nom and voters couldn't…
Funny you say that, since in the S2 comments I compared Bellamy running around Mount Weather to John McClane.
The lack of Xan is what soured me on the show last year. Even though I preferred her usage in S1 (her roommates and her made for too much uncomfortable humor for my taste), I was just happy to have her back
There are very few "mean" characters that I've felt sympathy for like Xan. She's kind of like a live action Helga Pataki.
You brought up a good point with the pacing. Something really subtle that they did was use the trope of "someone has to stay behind to manually operate this" but did it without a choice or debate or someone knocking out the other person to make the choice for them, etc. It saved time and also prevented another…
He's this show's version of Sawyer and it completely works.
Oh dang, I always forget Echo dates back to Season 2
It was also a nice little fakeout that she was actually working with them just to get a chance at killing them.
Her and Troyzan were my least disliked of the top 6 (never been big on Cirie but haven't seen all her seasons, to be fair) and they were also the two that had 0% chance of winning.
This brings up a good question: Are returnees more frustrating when they A Overplay like crazy again like Zeke, B Continue to suck at…
Agreed on Michaela (explained below), but in Ozzy's defense, once you're a challenge beast, you're a post-merge target whenever you come back. Could he have built alliances like Brad? Yeah, Ozzy is a sucky social player. But Malcolm got blitzed early basically because he was a future immunity threat.
Michaela types…
I never liked Michaela…until this finale. Aside from her hilarious digs at people, she was just grumpy and seemed really unpleasant to be around. But here, she stuck up for Sarah (not big on Sarah, but the jury attack seemed kinda sexist, even if subconsciously so) and poked holes in their stupid reasoning. I don't…
