I did not know that!
I did not know that!
LeBatard and Bomani are the only consistently good sports shows with SVP&Russillo long gone, though I enjoy Bomani much more when he has someone to ping off of. His days co-hosting once a week with LeBatard were gold, as was The Morning Jones with his old sidekicks. His current show is most enjoyable when him and…
You worded this a bit better than I did, well put
But the thing with Stugotz is he's in on the joke for the most part and doesn't give the truly awful opinions like "Kaepernick disrespects the troops" or whatever. He's both an authentic/proud moron and clever enough (think PFTCommenter) to be a commentary on the people he's lampshading.
All other disagreements aside, you really think Disney paid a kabillion dollars for Star Wars and then let Abrams decide the course of the trilogy when he's not even directing the others? I don't like the weird dropoff of the final minute but it's not like Disney was letting him go rogue with a movie people waited 30+…
I mean, Vader absolutely crushes Luke in Empire. I agree on the mind-reading tentacle thing though. Worst part of the movie for me.
Nah, she's the one really awesome character to come out of Rebels
Yeah the figure looks like they tried to blend Sabine and Tiya Sircar herself. I'm assuming the Ahsoka one looks/will look awful too.
Certain recent Big Brother seasons come the closest to outright manipulation but even that needs help and luck
Probst specifically said he found after his initial meeting with Zeke, so he met him not knowing and found out before he was officially cast.
Yeah I was stunned there wasn't more on what went into production decisions, if nothing else a softball for Probst to confirm Zeke was OK with how it aired.
Agreed with this. I think if being starved and braindead or whatever makes you do this, it's part of who you are in the first place. Setting that aside because it's a personal belief, if he was absolutely sorry, he wouldn't have fought it for so long. Instead of instantly going "oh my god what have I done?" he tried…
I haven't hit that in my Season 1 rewatch (I was a kid at the time so don't remember much) but the Rodney/Dan/Shirrin/Will stuff on their season was pretty brutal.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the 2nd and 3rd episodes of Borneo have straight up homophobia from multiple castaways. It sill exists obviously but the world…
Haven't seen the episode, but Allison Becker will always be the host of VH1's Top 20 countdown to me. Then she did some commercials and I was like, "Hey TV, give Allison Becker a steady paycheck!" and then I saw her on Parks and was like, "Well, better than nothing."
Yep. "Killing is bad and you'll become something you don't want to be…except when killing is OK I guess?" I don't really blame them a ton for that either since they've done so much story at this point, but Diggle and Lance have become marginalized and Thea picked up the slack but now she's on a reduced episode…
This season is good but there's a tightness to Season 2 that isn't there now. And that's fine! They hit true greatness, I won't blame them for not sustaining it, but S2 had Sara's intro, the League fight in the tower, Summer Glau, Slade showing up at the house, the limo, etc. No comparison for me.
My dislike of Sandra was confirmed with the goat fiasco but damn if it wasn't entertaining watching her spin her webs and slither through each week.
Quite funny to read these comments in a post-Legion world (was perusing the boards to see if Downton gets better)
I haven't watched this show yet (going through TGW first) but TBF, Bartha's only 38. As far as Hollywood goes, that's nothing.
Portia was great, the only part I really, really enjoyed. Everything else was just decent for me.
