Yeah, this was much more interesting when I thought all 800-whatever episodes were airing side-by-side at one time.

I'm glad I'm not invested in this show (it's just OK for me, Forte and non-Louise Schaal aren't my bag) because Lewis was my favorite character. I liked that he was "normal" yet not boring either. He felt the most like an actual person.
For as solid as Grant Gustin and this cast is, trying to match Smith and Gillan at that would be impossible. (And also much of those seasons were shaky themselves.)
We must stand strong together.
Half of me thinks he looks better, while the other half of me thinks he looks like a Power Rangers villain now
Jesse also was just chilling in the lab when Wally was getting pulled into the speed force, which I found kind of funny.
I also thought Iris was pretty silly.
If I was her, I'd be like, "So, you proposed to me as part of a plan to keep me alive? … It's worth a shot!"
But no, each episode is required to have a "I can't take this, walk away to have a moment to clear my head" scene
Commenters noted he'd said it before but in this episode either the script or the line reading was intentionally waiving giant blinkers over it like "HEY EVERYBODY, DID YOU CATCH THAT? (It's OK if not, we'll say it again)"
"I can't beat him! He's too fast!"
"Try harder! Believe in yourself! Win one for the gipper!"
"Hey, I did it!"
Avatar will be fine soon, if not already. Korra, however…that'll be a while.
If it's any consolation, I got a few good laughs from this point as a non-watcher (Well, I'm early S2 and have like 500 things above it on the to do list)
If you still believe Rebels>Clone Wars after seeing S5, I'll be flabbergasted. At least half of the series' top 20-25 moments are in that season.
Not close to Clone Wars in quality but Rebels works well for that age…though the first and second season finales are probably too extreme for him. Multiple deaths, a maiming, etc.
Older shows I liked and are suitable for that age would be Jackie Chan Adventures and Medabots. Digimon and Pokemon being obvious ones…
I chuckled at the Blackstone/Blackthorne slip for some reason
I didn't even know this was a thing with her contract, now her absences make more sense.
They actually killed him off?
Oliver Queen sees nothing wrong with this.
Just watched S1 a couple weeks ago and starting S2 tonight. Do we ever get an answer to what the captain's girlfriend was about to say at the end of the pilot?
I was so relieved we didn't get Wally "Old Yeller"ing Jesse and pushing her away on the basis of another "I withheld the truth to protect you!" plot to be resolved down the line.
"Because ice makes me evil. Or something. I don't understand why either, OK?!"
