If we're talking *any* superhero TV, the best 10 are probably from Justice League/Unlimited (even if I slightly prefer Young Justice for consistency). Live action, I'll go with Tommy's return in "Three Ghosts," though I haven't watched it in ages.

I find TDK to be the least enjoyable of the trilogy by a mile but Thor 2 is just plain boring. I could recall like 25% of it if you quizzed me. And it's ultimately toothless because you know there's no way they're not getting more appearances from a character as popular as Loki.

Agree with everything you said, and can add John Stewart and Wonder Woman there too. Green Arrow too. I think Young Justice had a much higher floor than JL/U but both are fantastic.

Agree with this on Rebels, but The Clone Wars had a good amount of the alien language stuff you mentioned.

The difference in network mandates between The Clone Wars and Rebels can be summed up with the Mandos. It was jarring to see one hit the rock formations and they just thud and fall out of screen. In TCW, the jetpack causes an explosion. Must be frustrating for Filoni & Co.
