CC @avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus, in that case, seems like they'd bag something like Elementary and maybe POI and ship Supergirl off Monday for another season to make room for the next generic procedural or something.
Any idea on bubble shows in jeopardy? (Mainly thinking Supergirl, which I've liked well enough though I'm way behind)
It's too "cold" for me right now, but Natalie Morales is great and I could see it clicking down the line. The main couple is a big drag for me, prob because the wife played Nick's awful girlfriend (Caroline?) in New Girl.
I was out of power last week and couldn't post the week before, so cheating a bit and noting my last 3 weeks (speed round style):
Doctor Who, whole season: Very hit or miss. Big highs, snooze inducing lows.
Gravity Falls, whole series: Didn't really do much for me. Good, just didn't click.
Steven Universe, first half of…
I felt sad when they showed Woo, seeing as Savage stole his zen/stoner vibe and Joe is the most beloved guy.
Yeah, I think because of the fire making at final four, I always think drawing rocks is for the vote getters rather than everyone else.
Banana Throwed Cowboy?
Kimmi annoyed the heck out of me, but then was super cool about going home, so that was nice.
Watching it now on West Coast, so a rambling diary:
-Whether it was part of her act, Kimmi's "I'm a woman!" defense was so grating. Vanessa said the same in Big Brother and I feel bad that women have to deal with other women saying that.
-Kimmi is not a convincing liar "NO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!!!"
-Savage's beanie is…
There's some people though who won't even have that as the greatest season of Breaking Bad itself. Then you have the Hannibal crowd, the Mad Men fans, etc. The wars will be long and they will leave scars.
There's no wrong answer, I just find myself humming "four and three and two and one" more than the Kimmy song all these months after airing. Both great.
This thread and its replies have me both excited and startled that I haven't heard of 80% of these artists. How in the world do you music people keep track of everything??
A lot of the "kooky" absurdist stuff (like the gnome vomiting rainbows for instance) just doesn't connect with my sense of humor. I found the ones I liked (Soos' date or the putt putt episode) were the ones that got less praise on here. And Mabel was often grating for me (I need to see Last Man on Earth to see more of…
Mark Long. Fun fact: he also was in GSN's Extreme Dodgeball.
I've watched all 4, I guess I just finally felt like the praise backed off of "BEST COMEDY EVER" to "this show is awesome," which is more appropriate to me. JLD kept me from loving it at first. Selina is my least favorite part of the show, but the supporting cast is fully fleshed out.
To be fair, moping and secrets are Arrow problems too. Flash just too often felt like watching the same plot formula from Smallville or Static Shock.
Step 1: New villain kicks Barry's keister
Step 2: How will Barry stop this powerful force????
Step 3: Duh, Barry's fast as hell with geniuses at his side.
That won't hurt me for S2 since I have no Coen Brothers knowledge haha.
You nailed my thoughts on B99 (I like it but want it to rip off the pantheon season it's capable of) and New Girl (still humorous but the thunderous momentum of S2 is just gone, and it makes me so sad.)
Noel Wells is near the top of my best performances list. The scene at the end of "Hot Ticket" with Dev and Rachel hit me in the feels.
