That the good guys get their butts kicked left me hating Empire until I was older, and now it's obviously my favorite. And as I kid I thought A New Hope was slow (it kind of is, but mostly the sand bored me), so Jedi was my favorite as a kid.

The Royals have the same thing as the Cardinals, where dopes like Harold Reynolds gush about them "playing the game the way it was meant to be played," so that reflexively makes them unlikable. Also, they refuse to die against anyone other than Madison Bumgarner.

Watched the series today. Thanks for the rec. I put thoughts in my most recent reply to keep things neater for future readers.

Did not, never been an SVU watcher, though now I want to see that

My guess is you probably can't label him with anything as simple as "straight"

Surprised to hear you say Christensen is perfectly cast because she's what makes the trailers look bad. Especially after seeing Parenthood, I just don't buy her as the woman Ed Westwick (haven't watched Gossip Girl but their clips made The Soup enough times back when I watched it that I got the gist of Westwick's

Netflix has both

All right, just added to my Netflix list. Wikipedia says at 52 episodes, it's the longest running Scooby Doo series ever, which is downright shocking.
EDIT: Watched the whole series today (skipping some filler episodes), didn't like early Velma (nice course correction), the gang letting Scooby sleep in the Mystery

I keep seeing references to that finale, can i watch it without having seen the series?

Ah thanks. I tried to google and nothing made sense.

Ok no one ever explained it, would you mind mentioning what the reference is actually from?

Not sure if the title invited this intentionally but…

It's funny reading your Arrow opinions since you're unspoiled on what's to come. I'll say Thea does get better and Laurel gets better…in a very Laurel way.

Static Shock is definitely worth watching. It's very much a proto-Flash with the metahuman of the week formula (and a time travel spot that allows Virgil to visit his mom), and while there's some preachy episodes like early Batman Beyond, there's some good stuff too and simply unique stuff worth seeing (NBA players as

I thought Kimmi was a trainwreck in this episode. Your alliance member infers she'd rather work you (as a woman) than the guys long-term, and your move is…to tattle on her and blindside an ally??? Brilliant!

I think it's worse this year because everyone has the Second Chance (TM) narratives. It gives Probst something to drive home with everyone.

Probably Justin Hartley.

I think The Force Unleashed has a moment (maybe more than one) like that IIRC and it did seem…off

Well, one thing to make you feel better: people in real life are idiots. Laurel resurrecting Sara against all evidence to the contrary is not only what Laurel does on a regular basis, it's what most people would do. Contrived would be if Laurel had an epiphany at the end of the episode and was like "you know, I should
