I gotta say, this whole "Morena Baccarin having Ben McKenzie's kid" makes Gotham more interesting to me. I mean, not enough to ever actually tune in, but in theory I'm more intrigued.

You didn't think so? I didn't think it was perfect by any means but I noticed a couple smaller things that I thought he did well to pick up on.
EDIT: I see I'm in such a minority that I'm now compelled to double check what I thought I saw.
I haven't seen Hillary's yet but I liked Killam's. It was accurate, just not super caricatured, which I imagine is hard to do since he's a caricature to begin with.
Yeah I had tried doing that, working my way up from 1960ish (I'm methodical about these things) and quickly realized it wasn't worth listening to whole albums when 95% of what I checked didn't pique my interest. Thanks for the site, looks like it's got a ton on it.
Yeah it's kind of a mess. I suck at identifying in-the-biz movie type things and even I could tell "oh yeah, Whedon wanted this but the studio demanded this be included." I didn't love EMH but Ultron was a way better villain in that.
Trying to do a deep dive into music, so this may be a broad question, but how do you listen to an album? (As in, how do you know you're listening to a concept/story album without being told as much) Am I really missing anything if I just search for songs I like? Also, is there a good master list of artists in each…
I love Winning Time so much. Some at times irritating personalities but dang if they aren't lively. It's not the hardest hitting 30 For 30 or anything, but it's so fun.
I mean this in a non spiteful way because sometimes a show just doesn't click, but that would get me to watch.
I feel that way about Ten too.
It's your fault Decades has an odd structure because I'm positive you just made it up.
Huh, seems like it would be simple, but it also makes sense why that would be the case, considering it's sadly impossible for any major business to not have some level of sleaziness.
I get hating the ads, but playing the lottery is not a better investment. I'm in one of the states that won't allow it, but daily is just like season-long: if you know what you're doing, you'll benefit over a big enough sample, if no other reason that there are enough flat out bad players to tilt the odds.
This is also part of what made Nikita awesome. She was small but entirely believable (and was an actual character too, not just a walking weapon)
I've yet to get into the Simpsons but I've seen a bit of old and new (and know all the characters) and it definitely has the same issue as Spongebob and Family Guy, and even Pokemon and Fairly Oddparents. Going full brightness and clean lines takes away a show's personality. Not everything looks better when done…
To be fair, that could be said of just about anybody from Lost, not just Terry O'Quinn.
It's a fair question, but no. Physical comedy has to be really good to make me laugh because I end up thinking about the process of making it as I'm watching it.
It's to the point where I differentiate between S1 Rose and S2 Rose. S1 is my favorite companion, S2 by far my least favorite.
Same here, dumb comedy just does not land at all. Even well regarded shows like Modern Family, Review, Nathan For You, feel like that bad faux-delivery style for me.
I haven't watched many of his, but Dodgeball has long been one of my favorite movies. Guessing White Goodman's schtick plays funny in part because he's well insulated by other characters fully aware of it and making fun of it.
Ha, funny you say that, since Ferrell was the only semi-bright spot for me.
