1. Yay, another article where I can assert that we'll look back on Arrow's second season as one of the best TV seasons of this decade. I'm not sure it will get back to that level, but last season was deserving of prestige status. Its narrative was as emotionally compelling and gripping as TV gets.
2. I'd argue by the

I didn't grow up with Friends, nor do I love multi-cams, but "The One With The Rumor" is among my favorite comedy episodes ever and I highly recommend it.
Premise: Ross' high school friend (Brad Pitt, which now adds a bit of awkwardness that actually enhances the episode) visits for Thanksgiving, now thin after being

It took me a while to get into it too. I thought the first 8 or 9 were bad. Then Burger Wars starts to get S1 going. S2 was straight fantastic and I've kind of been waiting for it to get back to that level. S3 has some great ones but some letdowns too.

Eh, I'm lukewarm on Poehler (and the character of Leslie Knope) along with Rob Lowe and still love Parks. Andy, April, Ron and Tom are just that great.

I think it's kind of jarring because he grabs her and shakes her a bit. Everything is fantastic though. The way her voice quivers, how her mom storms off, just, amazing.

Stick with Arrow. You'll go from "hey, this is great for the CW" to "HOLY CRAP. THIS SHOW. THIS. SHOW."

Yep. Very few throw-away episodes. Now that I think about it, it's probably one of the more serialized shows around, crazy considering the seasons are 50+ episodes.

I liked the finale a lot, just the stuff leading up to it I found very soap-opera-y and kind of repetitive.

I really liked the first half and found the second half rather tedious (though it should have had a second season, and Young Justice's cancellation is my biggest TV frustration ever)

In 2014, I binged HIMYM, 30 Rock, Sherlock, Greek, BSG, Green Lantern TAS, modern Doctor Who, Lost, Rome, Enlightened, Eastbound and Down, and The League, plus a full-watch of Clone Wars, of which I missed some of the middle seasons.
My goals for 2015 are to finish Star Trek TNG (midway through S3), Scrubs (early S2),

What, you didn't find Emma Frost to be an engaging, multi-layered character?

Same here. Got through it in about 3 months and knowing that not all the answers are given or are satisfactory really improves the show. Focus on the characters first and it's just brilliant (especially the finale because so many of those scenes are simply beautiful.)

But that means it's not married to a specific network in each market right? If I interpreted the news articles right, WGN is carried by networks as opposed to him directly signing with FOX or whoever.

Hadn't been a Ferguson fan (found him kind of creepy) but then when I binged Doctor Who, I watched his interviews with Karen Gillan and Billie Piper and realized he was awesome. He has the ability like Fallon does to make guests comfortable but he does without the butt-kissing that people hate Fallon for. The opening

Yeah I don't mean to say it didn't happen or was untrue, just that I think the show blew it way out of proportion. I say that because I really don't remember Baylor being bratty (she might have been the most gracious blindside victim ever after all) amd I'm not sure what else Missy was supposed to do when Reed when

That's exactly my point. Watch Survivor (or Big Brother especially since you know every detail unlike Survivor which doesn't have live feeds) and you learn that they have to tell a story. Everyone has a role and often you'll read exit interviews from players talk about how things weren't quite as they were portrayed.

That was her defining trait because that was the narrative the show chose to focus on. If Nat and Nadiya had ever gotten to play together they'd have been as annoying as they were at times on The Amazing Race. I think a big factor in this is how the show crafts storylines for men versus women. They hit on Missy's

I don't agree with that at all. You can give up on a challenge, so what she did in not participating is not different to me. And I think it's unfair to label her for defending Baylor when Natalie lashed out at John, Keith defended Wes, Jon defended Jaclyn, etc. Pretty much everyone was defensive about their loved one

Bra-vo

That idol-bonanza is probably my stretch of Survivor ever.
