That's definitely how it read to me. All kind of stuff to be flashy and make you miss that nothing's really happening.

It's not like I loved it up till these plots but the trio of the car death and then the train death, House of Cards quickly went from watchable public phenomenon to the biggest slap in the face TV or movies have ever given me. I stopped once Claire's S2 plot got going (too intense/serious for me to watch on a TV show)…
I never cared for Sayid so I didn't really care, but yeah the further I get from it (recently finished) I'm like, oh yeah, they had no clue what they were doing with him.
Watched it for the first time today and was just kind of meh. Much darker/adult than I expected. I was decent but I kind of lost interest in the premise midway through. A tad too long.
MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS
(Disclosure: haven't seen the episode yet)
Parenthood has always been a weird watch for me because I'm not close with any extended family really, but Zeek has always struck me as maybe the most realistic Braverman because he reminds me of a relative I have, in that his old age has made it to where he doesn't really…
Hey, all he has to do is just avoid racist stuff in emails and he'll be fine.
I guess that's why you wrote "was" as opposed to "is" at the beginning.
That was fantastic.
Stay tuned for the next Arrow spinoff next fall: "Felicity Wears Dresses"!
Seriously though:
1. Whether you like Thea's plot or not, you have to admit Willa Holland has turned into a real asset for the show. She's really grown into the role.
2. I'm not a huge fan of Ollie pining for Felicity. I just don't think he feels…
A character who is obsessed with the Lance family, and played by, of course, John de Lancie.
Man, I don't get the hate for her. She's supposed to play unhinged as Huntress and I totally get that vibe from the performance. It's hard to say she's acting poorly when she's playing a person that's essentially crazy.I think she's been just as good as Law playing Nyssa.
Yeah I guess if you tried to make them too serious you'd get the scorn Gotham drew for that episode with the balloon guy.
Arrow is kind of boring right now, but aside from some Laurel and Roy scenes, I never feel like, eh this is too harsh but the right word isn't coming to me, embarrassed to watch it like Flash can make it sometimes.
I was positive this was a shared story from The Onion, fake quotes and all. So glad I didn't start watching this trainwreck.
Good point. I think the Villain of the Week style of Flash so far has me feeling like the show's been repetitive.
That's the most recent one I saw. That one was solid.
I'm a couple behind and debating whether to keep up. It feels just kind of cheap to me in a way that Arrow only feels like at its lowest moments. With Flash I'm always aware I'm watching "a CW show."
Starring Katherine McPhee, making her triumphant return home to FOX!
Aaand we've hit the homestretch. Looking forward to it even though I've started to forget these since I first watched them a year ago.
