It's also great because him and Boogie doing their Chilltown shtick was before everybody on a reality show went on aiming to have a shtick/be a celebrity, etc.

Sure, but judging off his last two games, it's not crazy to think that his new offense based on high percentage throws could revive his career just like what happened with Philip Rivers.
If you're fairly new, try to get your hands on BB2, BB3, BB7 All-Stars and BB8 if you haven't seen them. They feature the other all-time great players who Derrick was trying to live up to this season. I think they might be on YouTube, or at least some of them.
He had half a dozen "outfits" that were even dumber this year. He'd borrow clothes from other people (including using the dress of the girl he very creepily creeped on as a scarf) and make weird combinations.
Actually since the MNF disaster versus Detroit, the Giants have gotten their offense together. They're riding Rashad Jennings, Eli's completion percentage is up and their funneling targets to Rueben Randle as opposed to JAGs like Jerrel Jernigan. Also, the Giants secondary is sneaky good as DRC and Amukamara are both…
The people weren't disgusting like last year (except for Frankie, who will never get called out by Julie Chen for his disgusting remarks) but Derrick was so good as a player that the game got boring. The Battle of the Block meant big threats were never nominated, allowing Derrick to form his group without fear they'd…
I'm gonna go with that because it makes it slightly tolerable as a storyline. Thanks.
Well that's only episode 9, and the maligned stretch of episodes is the first 6, so there's only 2 more episodes before Stranger, and those 2 episodes are Not in Portland, Juliet's solid-to-very-good first flashback episode, and Flashes Before Your Eyes which is an absolute home run.
I think of Season 1 as a grounded prologue to become invested in the characters.
Gets stuck in my head at least once a week.
Yeah the first one you mentioned was aggravating. I don't consider Juliet an Other though. She played the same game the survivors did in joining a side that could get her home.
They all kind of get retconned though. Ethan's homicidal behavior gets backtracked, Goodwin gets fleshed out and Tom becomes a bizarro version of Sawyer based on his scenes with showering Kate plus Michael off the island.
Myles already supported me on this a few reviews back but I LOVED the beginning of Season 3.
SPOILER
I really wanted to give Desmond one but after Season 2 they didn't really give him a lot to do. There were like 3 Desmond centric episodes each season, and otherwise he was largely absent. I like 1 too but it's bogged down by too much Michael/Shannon/Boone
Yeah, I think the thing with Kate is she's not great as the focus, but fantastic in a supporting role. In the pilot, with Aaron, Sawyer going with Locke, the temple, the finale, etc she's reacting to the main players and giving level headed, smart responses. I didn't like Hurley because A I hated the first numbers…
NEW VIEWER UPDATE: During the reviewing hiatus, I watched seasons 5 and 6. Here's my final observations:
"fun at times, just don't use logic too much"
Well considering that's 80% of TV now you've roped me back in a bit.
Yeah it shows if you bring up your list of shows, but I saw it on accident when reading something on the internet. A season plus in and I won't be heartbroken if I don't finish it (though I know I'll find a way to finish)
I'm late to the Marvel movies (Iron Man 1 aside, which I freaking love) as they've all left Netflix by now. Caught Cap 1 last week and FX is showing Hulk and Thor this week so then I can finally watch Avengers, which is on Netflix.
This is all a preamble for saying I thought Cap 1 was terrible.
