I was annoyed because everything was so swift. Disney laid off as many of the staff as they could, leaving only a skeleton crew to finish these. And we've known for months these were coming, just not where. I'm with you on Young Justice, but I see you saw my comment below on that.

Well they didn't save The Clone Wars, they're just the outlet. But either way, I'd pay all of the money for them to bring back Young Justice.

The dumb part is they could have cut out the first and last episodes of that arc (the Grigor ep was very good and Sunny Day in the Void was at least unique and something they wanted to explore) and considering the season was already 2 eps short, they could have added in a legit 4 pt arc and had a normal length season.

C'mon the Geonosis battle in Clones is pretty fantastic.

Sam Witwer is sooo good as The Son is those episodes. Most of the voicework on the show was absolute top notch (except for Jabba's gay nephew or whatever that was)

They supposedly had a big arc in the works to wrap up the storylines of the bounty hunters. Effing Disney.

ARE YOU AN ANGEL????

I was too young to care about that but watching the Geonosis battle in Ep 2 and the best of The Clone Wars makes me frustrated more of that wasn't in Eps 2 and 3.

I rewatched it for the first time in years recently and was actually pretty disappointed. The 12-13 year old me loved it but not so much now. The Durge stuff was kind of dumb. The Anakin/Ventress fight remains awesome though.

Very good.
Rule of thumb: Jar-Jar or droid episodes are very geared towards kids. Ahsoka may piss you off at the start of the series but the character grows throughout the show. Also, the graphics get better and better.

Yes! Good on you Netflix. Part of the joy in watching Clone Wars is the beautiful scenery and that gets diminished on internet streams.
The real crime of the show's cancellation is how far ahead the writers had gotten and how good the show had become. There's no reason with the caliber of staff this show had that

Just catching this episode now. That was the hardest I've laughed in years. Expected a full A, figured on A-, shocked at merely a B+.

Totally agree on Parenthood and realized after I posted that that's the exact example of struggling with a full season. They nailed the reduced season and are really lagging with the full order.

Definitely want to try POI but I've been focusing on Netflix shows (only got it last summer) and not real familiar with other, ahem, ways of viewing online.

SO MANY THOUGHTS:
I don't watch The Good Wife, but aside from maybe that, Arrow is the best drama on network TV right? How many other shows constrained by both 20-24 episode seasons and the FCC type limits can give us an episode like tonight (and dammit it deserved an A!)? Seriously every scene in the present hit:

Yeah as a Not-Seahawks fan in Washington, having New Girl and B99 get bumped was opposite of icing on the opposite of cake.

Oh I like 30 Rock (Tracy Does Conan is just perfect) just not near as much as its biggest supporters. I'm currently slogging through the 4th season.

Her need to be good enough for Holt's approval is my single favorite thing about the show so far. It's a hilarious character trait that isn't a schtick and can be legitimately developed as the show matures (like would it be that crazy for the big series finale to have Holt retire and not Peralta, but Santiago (a Latin

Haha, I mostly mean for comedies but I feel somewhat like that for dramas too. I loved watching Breaking Bad but it isn't a series I'll be rewatching for a few years. Have to get to West Wing, The Wire, The Shield, and others before I do that.

Could be, didn't mean my first post to sound angry at all either, just that none of it really hit me because we're all so used to the pattern at this point.
