If I ever do a re-watch (just caught up by watching the whole series in a couple months so needless to say I'm burnt out for a while), I'm skipping almost everything this season without Milioti. She's fantastic, most everything else is total sitcom hijinks.

Same here. Only non-mother scene in the first ten episodes I enjoyed was all the challenges for Barney from the girls.

Really? Love HA! and lived outside Seattle my whole life and never knew that.

Christmas Who is so conflicting for me. It's one of my absolute favorite Christmas episodes but the live-action parts, including Santa, are painful. On the other hand, the part where Squidward opens his gift from Spongebob is perfect.

But as we've seen with how rock solid Gervase, Tyson and Monica are, it's obvious Ciera didn't have a path there either. She took a necessary risk, it didn't pay off, but she's still there and would have a better chance of winning than Monica does because she can argue that she made a big move and didn't resign

As someone who loves New Girl (but can also acknowledge its flaws), I think there's a lot to hold on to. While the characters' awareness might vary episode to episode, their core traits and decency (aside from Schmidt at the beginning of this season) don't. I'm binging HIMYM right now, on Season 8, and Lily is

Caity Lotz had me yelling "NOOOO!!!!" when she left. That League of Assassins episode was fantastic. If Laurel was like "I'll be back in a month" I'd be like "Only a month?"

People raving about the finale got me to go back. When Oliver gets out of the chains or when he and Dig enter the room and Malcolm just goes "Welcome gentlemen." Just an amazing episode.

Or an announcement that she's no longer among the living.

I'm surprised to see people hated this episode. The last couple seasons HIMYM has moved at a snail's pace, and while the episode was pretty broad, this was the densest episode in terms of jokes in quite some time. Sad to see Quinn go though. She and Barney were by far the best part of the show at this point, with

Holy cow. Didn't see this all-timer coming so soon after the horrific dumpster fire that is "Noretta." HIMYM's later seasons are a chore but episodes like this are what's keeping me grinding them out on Netflix.

100% agree. People too often confuse delaying defeat with improving one's odds of winning. Loved Ciera's move. What's your podcast?

I just don't agree with that. She has no shot of winning next to Tyson. As an underdog, she used a high variance strategy and it unfortunately for her, it backfired.

Some are on YouTube. you just have to search carefully to avoid spoilers.

Same here, thanks to NFL RedZone. I had no idea what was coming. I think I'd quit watching football if that went away. The commercial breaks are miserable.
I didn't know what the rules were, as in I wasn't even sure if immunity mattered when it came to the rock draw. Fantastic drama and it was nice to see players be

But what was Ciera's alternative? She got little shot at immunity against the remaining players. This is like football strategy on two point conversions. If you're down 15 and score, go for 2 now, not on the 2nd score b/c if you don't make it, better to be down 9 with 6:00 left than 2 w/the game almost over. Prolonging

But that's the problem.People don't vote for someone they don't respect and/or like and from what we've seen, no one really liked Monica nor did she make any big game moves. She would have needed to get Tyson out or something.
