For me, it's United 93. I saw it once in the movie theater and nearly had a panic attack. Though I acknowledge that it is a great piece of filmmaking I will never ever see it again.

For me, the ultimate has to be Chuck Berry. I can forgive just about everything else (well, okay murder and woman beating I can't forgive). Woody Allen? Yeah, I'm bothered by his thoughtlessness but hey, that doesn't stop me form watching Annie Hall, Manhattan, Sleeper, or his new stuff.

Who knew gay poots would be so fappable?

I saw it. Like all of Nolan's Batman movies it had its moments, but for me none of them quite hit the mark and I never have loved any Batman movie (but yes, Heath was phenomenal). In my opinion they really are tedious and a chore to get through at times. In addition, I hate the way all the characters talk: in near…

I agree. What would be more contrived is if Betty didn't pop up occasionally given she's Sally's mom and Don's ex-wife. The episode where she tried to sabotage Don and Meagan's relationship through manipulating Sally was one of the best of the year. She is the troublesome ex-wife and the story works well and is not…

I also think the addition of McNulty on this list isn't right. Because when I think of characters who have outlived their usefulness I think of the ones who you actively still see forced into stories unnaturally. When you see them you groan and go, "oh here we go, gotta give so-and-so their obligatory scene." But…

Perfect explanation of the abomination that was Spider-Man 3. The drop off in quality between 2 and 3 had my lopsided head spinning.

I enjoyed Amazing Spider-Man, but with the usual gripe — I felt that the origin story was a chore. I know they put a couple twists on it, but it still was unnecessary. Yes, Spider-Man 3 sucked ass but the first film was good enough, and Spider-Man 2 was the bomb. That train sequence was one of the most thrilling…

My avatar? Why it's Malvert, the janitor of course! Perhaps one of the most debonair, elegant, and charismatic characters ever to grace the silver screen. Isn't this just the epitome of handsome?

Oh yeah, and is it just me, or does AV go out of its way to find the most unflattering pictures of actors when they show scenes from their work? It's always some weird-ass shit.

I think she's pretty much "gone" from the show. Which is too bad as I liked her character (let's face it, along with Don she was the soul of the show). But storywise I understand it. Sort of like how Sal left the show and has not returned. In relation to Mad Men their stories and character arcs have been told in the…
