Well, not exactly amazing, but enjoyable.  Of course, I never thought of Community as "da best" or something like that.  Is like you don´t watch enough British shows over there.

"I Just Had Sex" is amazing.  I have put that video with girls in the room, and everybody loves it (and yes, I also put it after I had sex, and she also loved it).

Jerry Lewis was (is?) a genius, a very capable avant-garde director which also made a great string of Frank Tashlin lunacies come to life.

To be fair, the Golden Age of TV and the 1000 TSPDT list have spoiled me to no end. Difficult to make me happy after a run of Billy Wilder or dragons killing ex slave-owners.

Well, I am a Sociologist.  Believe me, there is no "natural" in human society, just some biological imperatives that can be played in a myriad ways, habitus, and power struggles.  We can build a 1984 society as well as we can a modern Welfare State.

Now that I think of it, the whole Twilight thing is about an old rich man with the body of a teenager falling for the stand-in of teens and dim middle-aged women everywhere.  A third-wave feminist dream.  Kracauer gets it right again, folks! Between this and Fight Club, your country is doomed.

This movie was a disaster, one of the truly "so bad its bad unless you have really cool friends and lots of dope" experiences, maybe the Bad Movie of this generation, if it not was so boring.  Battlefield Earth is a bliss after this one.

1984 horribly overwritten?  Dude, it is an amazing book which introduced so many concepts so many years before they became commonplace.  It is truly a classic, and as such will stand the test of time.

Thing is, the Arrow guy does not make me feel bad about myself.  Now the dude called Paul in Orphan Black.  Man, it makes me feel like I am a blob from The Blob.  Mmm, gelatin, yummy.

Is not the central thing in the American movie pilot?

Watch it. Surprisingly entertaining. Not to run to the cinema, but not to hate it either.  Some good scenes, a good car race, good shootouts, great start.  A shame that one was shown in the ever present trailers.
