Stay with it, it drags in the middle, and then it gets better and more interesting (especially the time-travel thing) as the end of the season is closer. I´m eagerly awaiting for the second season.

I was thinking along the lines of social commentary about somebody like Glover owning a copy of a Rand book (nil), but maybe is just Dunham namedropping.
I just wish she would write episodes where the real ugliness of relationships for the not-so-perfect arise, and finally finds love with a not-so-handsome dude that can appreciate some other qualities (if he can stand the quirkiness and her tendency to go around naked when not asked). But again, I am spoiled by trips…
Again, watch some sequences in "Detention", the Kahn film.
Yep. See "Detention" for modern use of texting.
So, I watched the first few minutes. Suspension of disbelief… difficult: why an attractive male would sleep with Lena´s character outside a drunk one-night-stand? Yes, horrible comment, but still, the question lingers.
Do you know we are Argentinean genocidal dictators of the past? In JAIL, forever (well, until they die). That is how you do it. At least in a real democracy under the Law. You don´t kill your enemies without a trial (if you have the death penalty, that is). Killing a man in a house when there is no war between…

Movies are over in two hours. I can watch fun-fast garbage just because I feel like it at the moment, and if I don´t like what I see I just think about something else. "When they characterized comics as being for twelve-year-old boys, I almost threw my mug at the TV."
I too knew the answer, and I am Argentinean, so double points for me. I also know that the Interstate System had General Motors behind, a nice way to destroy the possibility of a high-speed train system, also creating the "American Dream" (nightmare) of suburbia.
Sometimes AV Clubbers are a little naive. It is the way the world works, not meritocracy, not even luck (well, maybe luck).
Funny thing, I am in the greeting cards business. Does this mean I will develop my own TV channel?
Expectations for 2014:
Expectations for 2014:
Back from the tremendous party in Buenos Aires. All my body hurts. I am so tired that I can´t even go to sleep. See you in a week.
I would add that little time-traveling gem, "Replay". I don´t know why but many people do not even know that it exists.

Every time I watch CK I always think that he was 25 when he made it and I kept getting older and older (and still no fame, love or fortune).
