I was referring not to the movies themselves, but more about the typical critic.  I prefer the adventurous ones, Rosenbaum "the Destroyer of Stars Wars", Armond "The Heretic" White, or David "The Communist" Walsh.

But it is still predictable and middle-brow (in the critics´ world).  They should be more daring (or make a separate article about "daring" movies, like my champion "Detention", from Joseph Kahn).
