O'Hare sold the scenes for me, but Hotel has finally fully caved into Freak Show's tendencies to drop in plots that made it feel like they skipped three episodes to get to this one.

We got two more series regulars inducted into the club! And a return from Wittrock! It's like an apology from the writers!

But damn, what a soundtrack.

It's worth it.

Also, her boldly hitting on Lowe doesn't cry "meek flower who thinks she's invisible".

Her scene in Liz's flashback was the first time I really genuinely bought that character, and Gaga as an actress. Maybe O'Hare taught her a thing or two.

All work and no play makes Jack hire way too many great actors to the point where he can't service all of them effectively.

I'm sorry, why the fuck is Liz Taylor not this season's main character?

I'm gay as balls and even I was like DAMN

You know how sometimes a show nails your life so hard it kind of makes you want to throw up a little bit?

You could make an argument for that, but it's really a "warmest piece of ice" type situation.

AW SHIT MICHELLE PFEIFFER. That would be so badass. Gaga's more of a model than an actor, she looks badass in stills from the show, but has zero gravitas when you watch her in motion. In Anything's-Possible-Land, I'd also like to nominate Charlize Theron for the part. I just want a real actor, it feels like the show

LILY RABE. Raise your hand if you would rather see her play The Countess.

That and "Buffalo Bill" just barely refusing to break character during his pep talk.

I have a lot of issues with this show, but the way it stripmines actual tragedies for campy bullshit is by far its ugliest feature. See also: Black Dahlia, LaLaurie, etc.

Can Fuller reboot American Horror Story instead? I just want that cast and concept to be adopted by someone who actually knows how to tell a story, and I feel like he might be the man for the job.

What was the tweet that set him off? The user's tweets were made private and now Harmon's stream of tweets now look like "Old Man Yells At Cloud".

"Anytime Frances Conroy is not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking, 'Where's Frances Conroy?'"

Lucille.

Did anyone else instinctively start hearing the Siouxsie Sioux song from the Hannibal finale when Forrest pitched himself and Grant off of the bridge?
