I can't
I can't
NOPE
I really love that the show is finally taking full advantage of what Laura Silverman's capable of.
Considering that the premiere ratings bordered on nonexistent (even by the nichiest of niche cable standards), I'm impressed that this show gets the smattering of comments that it does.
Holy shit you finally gave me a way to describe the reason I genuinely like this character despite her being a complete dumpster fire as a person. That's it right there.
I will fight to the fucking death to defend Cooperative Polygraphy as a Top 3 episode.
Do Lifetime staffers get fired for pitching ideas that aren't gross enough?
I was talking about Bridges coming back as Scully. I probably should have been clearer since he wasn't mentioned in the original post. Anyhoo, let's get Mom cancelled next for a full-on Masters of Sex Family Reunion.
Dear God I wish. Just referring to Bridges.
It's barely precedented for a show with orders for two full seasons, and fucking unheard of for CBS. Couldn't have happened to a bigger waste of talent.
Who wants to bet that this is secretly the best day that The Powers That Be of The Americans, Masters of Sex, and Arrested Development have had all year?
She's already got one on Getting On.
The finale will feature Martindale accidentally slipping into her native Russian accent, Bridges secretly slipping off to an electroshock therapy appointment, and seven dead doves falling out of Arnett's jacket sleeve.
I laughed because I'm already drunk today.
It's always a shame when cast and crew lose their jobs. But as a selfish fan of The Americans, I would just like to say MARGO, COME HOME.
I blame the writing. In the early going when Dot started to melt a little around Jimmy and Bette seemed to have this vicious streak in her (ie murdering someone for not being able to see Singing In the Rain or whatever), I was hoping that they were giving Paulson something really remarkable to work with this year, but…
WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT.
True. It helps that Lana Winters is, at least in my mind, the closest thing to an honest-to-god human being that Murphy has ever written.
Wittrock absolutely nails the crazy-ass tone of this show. I hope they keep him around. He has the same thing Rabe had going on, ie "I have no idea what's happening, but I'm having a blast playing this".
I'm going to marry Mat Fraser, just FYI.
