The writers needed GET THE FUCK ON WITH IT tattood onto their foreheads (and appropriate mirrors established anywhere they may work on the series) at about s5 or 6.

Two points

Sorry Hugh Jackman wasn't good enough for Jean Valjean? Fuck off.

The Phil Silvers Show (Aka Bilko, Sergeant Bilko)- now that's a golden age show more Americans should watch. It needs a full dvd release.

nationalism etc would have emerged, just differently, likely there would have been a french revolution. Liberalism certainly would have emerged (it started in the Englightenment pre-revolution anyway and really set root in Britain despite it being an imperial power). All these things were perculating before the

There is a great sketch from John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme (a radio comedy, those still exist in the UK and a deep reservoir of amazing comedy even American anglophiles seem to not realise exists, by the creator of the Benedict Cumberbatch/Roger Allam starring radio sitcom Cabin Pressure which is one of the best

Right are there non- eating a meal options and just regular stalls in drafthouse cinemas?

Fantastic episode.

But Gangnam Style actually was pretty good, as well has being ocmpletely bonkers. this is just a bit naff.

Channel 4 do a lot of these sorts of documentaries.

" Steven Moffat and BBC casting another white guy didn’t sit well with many fans and critics.  "
The choice was Peter Capaldi so yes it did. Also I do notice the people most uppity about Who casting are, for the most part, people who clearly don't watch the show.I actually think a woman would be a bad choice for a bunch

I'd have to strongly disagree with that assessment of British sitcoms. Broad certainly, and often in a physical way the equivalent (and just as broad but in a different way) US sitcoms are. Some of that, particularly in older ones, comes down to the very theatrical reactions of comedians and stage actors.

All these slowed down massively tracks basically sound the same.

I thought there had to be a reason for their behavior or it doesn't really work.

Adam Sandler, directed by Chris Columbus in a translated comedy? The only thing that could possibly make it worse is if Michael Bay directed the second unit adding in bad unnessecary action scens

I thought this was about the New Adventures of Superman, I think it might have been called Lois and Clark in the US or something.

Sophia Coppola and interesting director is an oxymoronic term.

Totally agree, it's really nice to finally see British shows that are the equal to the Mad Mens and the like of US tv. Fresh Meat is another channel 4 show tht is very well shot and easily one of the best looking things on tv.
