I feel like Bob doing the LSFYL this episode was similar to Jinkx having to do one right before the final 3. Two dominant queens who were headed for the top and (hopefully) an eventual win. A misstep right at the end has allowed each of them to prove that, in addition to all their other skills, they are fierce lip

I loved loved loved the line about taking a New York & Company suit and making it look like Saks Fifth Avenue. I have known many woman like that, and love to see Bob representing them every week.

You can't say she threw shade without describing it! Come on now.

Chi Chi's contouring tonight in the book dress was divine. That and the high ponytail made her look gorgeous. I'm glad someone else noticed her makeup skills!

Biggie Smalls also died when she was 2 or 3 as well, so yeah, it does seem she knows her history in at least some areas.

Pretty sure Roxxxy Andrews actually has the crown for "Most Implausibly Timed Sob Story on the Runway", but Willam is a close second!

I did always appreciate Courtney's talent, and no matter what I thought she deserved to be in the Top 3. I guess I just felt that even if the comments weren't meant cruelly, a more sensitive person would probably have noticed that Joslyn was genuinely hurt by them.

I listened to a podcast that says they're recorded every 2 days or so (and that they ask the queens to wear the same outfits every time for continuity reasons—though they didn't used to do this, up to and including season 5).

I think Bob's skills as a seamstress are actually very good, but it's as a designer where she sometimes fails. They acknowledged that in the first episode, with her "Purse First" outfit. It didn't bring the house down, but it was very well made. So she could do middling-well in the ball challenge, but might not win.

Detox's look was also painted on by someone else for the Season 5 finale. Doing that kind of painting on yourself (since it was body, not just face) is really hard.

Yeah, Bianca never had a breakdown moment, but she had "softening" moments. I think Bob's talking head about her new respect for Derrick was the first of those for Bob.

I generally liked Courtney, and she had some moments here and there where she seemed like she was a decent friend to some of the queens, but I got very annoyed with how dismissive she was of Joslyn Fox. Sure, everyone in the audience could tell that Joslyn needed to work on being more polished, but she was so

Ooooo! My recording cut off before any previews.

Are you predicting a final 3 that includes Derrick? Or just saying she seems to be filling the same paradigm as Courtney?

Okay, yeah, that's a good point. But I do tend to prefer cumulative judging, which is why I've been kind of unhappy with both the Acid Betty (who had been ranked high in I think every challenge until her elimination) and Thorgy eliminations.

I can never figure out how judging on the main challenges works. Sometimes it seems that Ru and the others judge based on cumulative performance, giving a queen a pass for a bad performance if she has given many strong performances previously.

A few weeks ago, when Chi Chi won the Call Me LSFYL, a couple people mentioned that they were worried that that performance was so good / acrobatic, that Chi Chi would get repetitive and not be able to top it should she have to LSFYL again.

I was referring to Roxxxy's sob story being randomly brought up as the most desperate move on the mainstage.

Please interpret the like I just gave you as a steady stream of tears.

I really want them to track down Carlos Santana just to, you know, have a jam session.
