Dude, the entire first seasons of Parks and Rec and the Office were basically shit.  I can give the new showrunners more than a single ep before I pass judgment.

It's not as bad as some are saying.  Some of it is definitely trying too hard but the cast is still awesome and I laughed more than I would at that shitty New Girl show.

SPOILERS:  Turns out those ballet shoes weren't magical—it was the Bunheads all along!

The point is, they didn't want to pay $12,000, or $5,000, or whatever Candie would have charged if he would have known that the real "target" was Broomhilda.  They wanted to buy her for next to nothing.  And that's what would have happened if Stephen hadn't caught on.

Yeah.  I think the line of reasoning was: If King/Django ask Candie about this seemingly random girl slave (even with a valid reason supporting that interest—her ability to speak German), they take the risk that he'll either 1) blow them off or 2) realize that there's more to their interest than the fact that she

What?  I don't understand the question.

I don't see what's convoluted about it.  As Tarantino says in that interview, it was a way King/Django could get what they wanted without laying everything on the table.  If King just asks to buy Broomhilda, Candie is going to extract everything he can from King (which is exactly what he does when he finds out the

Just popped in to say that anyone who gives this a bad review is full of shit.  Django is fucking epic.

You spelled "The Comedy" wrong.

Keaton fucking owned in that movie.

Weird to dog The Other Guys like that, since it was actually really fucking successful ($120 million domestic) and got good reviews (64 on metacritic, pretty good for a mainstream comedy).  I know it's cool to hate all things Will Ferrell, but it's a good movie and a lot of people apparently liked it (hell, it's on FX
