I liked most of the show up til this episode. 1st episode was still the highlight because the strong points is not the police procedural but the personal and psychological interactions the protagonist has with the wife, son, and therapists.

Dat Marco ass. It was a perfect, glorious circle. why of all things to stick in it did they have to go for the corkscrew?

Poor Seppia. She and her brother got a raw deal, especially her.

No one's indispensable. There are other effective and less misanthropic divorce lawyers out there.

Oh, lord, David is not being very strategic with antagonizing pretty much everyone. He could be surly before, but this time around it looks like he's begging to be the next Derrick Bond.

If that involves slandering a child who did no wrong (saying he took the cap off his gun, playing on his troubled history) to keep your image intact and lie to ascertain a promotion?

I hate how monstrous they've made Tang to be.

Communities don't change when you appease their prejudice. Ask women, jews, or black people how well it went when they stayed put for fear of backlash?

I think Colin saw in Isabel someone depraved/shrewd when she finally perjured herself like he did before, a moral repulsiveness just like him. And so he decided to raise a child with someone who perhaps shared his worldview.

I hate Monica. Her way of speaking is just abominably stupefying and I feel she bogs down the episodes. Any episode prominently featuring Monica is not a fun episode for me.

Was Agron really a gladiator/fighter? He seems to be getting whooped by anyone but Roman foot soldiers. I'm surprised he's lived this far.

You're looking for female empowerment in this show? It'll never get an A. Female empowerment simply is not common in the setting we're covering.

Seppius was snotty, but damn was the way he ended cold. Glaber is being built up to be a true SOB.

This series is headed for cancellation the way it's got a revolving door of characters. Chickie had started to work? They cut her out when she had finally gained some development.

We don't know what Latin sounded like. Even the Roman Catholic church does latin in respectively biased accent, and in dictionary pronunciations all we get is Anglo slant to pronouncing Latin.

Humanize=/= meaning someone is perfect.

I love Eli's indignance at Sedaris's explanation of still having his taste. He's so catlike.

The worst part is that in Brasil men don't actually use those bathing suits. They may use speedos and tight, short trunks like most of Europe, but definitely not a thong for the most part.

Lucretia played Illythia like a pro, even at the face of a very menacing Illythia. We all know after seeing how Lucretia killed Batiatus's father just how adept she is at endgame.

I'm hormonal and got a gun; don't mess with me.
