Yes considering the circumstances that led up to the Babylon Project, it would stand to reason that the effort into it would be astronomical.

B4's significance to those ancient Minbari and their allies was timing, symbolism and moral-boosting.

Yep, this.
It's not "selfish" to be really really sad that your husband's life is cut short.

I'm sorry I don't agree with that assessment of Delenn at all, considering she essentially re-builds Minbari leadership in season 4 and fulfills a bunch of prophecies.  That's some pretty "The One" stuff right there.

Rowan are you referring to the "flash-forward" part (with Emperor Mollari imprisoning Sheridan and Delenn) as a "What If"?  Because I'm pretty sure it's not an alternate timeline scenario at all- we are seeing the actual future.

Review of the review:
Last week's was the lamest so far, this week's is the very best.  Perhaps in part due to focusing on one episode but Rowan's insights are really great.
Also appreciate the call out of Boxleitner's performance during Sheridan's showdown with Kosh. It is maybe his best moment in the series, and a

Black Vorta- my guess as to why Franklin isn't as beloved as Bashir is because DS9 just found more ways to involve Bashir in with the rest of the cast, and it's something explicit they did from day one, even with the terrible Dax crush.

I like The Big Wheel.

The only cringey moment for me on Grace is "1001001, SOS," it's one of those Rush moments where it crosses the border from Acceptable Rush Cheese to Too Much Cheese.

That rapping is like 2 minutes in a 40 year career.  It's absurd that it's ALWAYS brought up in any Rush discussion.  It's supposed to be just a gas.
Also I'm pretty sure it's Peart not Lee, contrary to what the article says.

1. Moving PictureOk it's their most overplayed but, you know, for a reason.  I also think Dark Side is Pink Floyd's best, even though we've all heard these albums like a billion times.  Maybe that's what being "the best" entails.

Ah yes, I did read the technomage trilogy.  I've just forgotten it and have chosen to ignore it.

Ditto.

Oh come on you know if anyone were to do it besides JMS it would be JJ Abrams because he's now the Emperor of Sci-Fi for some reason.

Willy Pete that is a great explanation for Grail.

Arex- I never really watched any of it, but I bet many would cite Dr Who as an example of what you're looking for.

I take Marcus' Arthurian analogy to be more about how what a dork Marcus is than a serious attempt by The Show to connect itself to Arthur.  It's consistent with his character.

I love Anna Sheridan- specifically how she is used by the Shadows and the show itself.  It's darkly hilarious how, for all their power, the Shadow's idea of a ploy to abuse John Sheridan's humanity is to throw a warped, shell of his ex-wife at him, completely misunderstanding what "integrity" and actual "love" might

I like Schreiber and Jackman just fine but you can't even put them on the same level as Laurence freaking Olivier, and even some of the character actors mentioned earlier in this thread.

Well that's a bit… harsh?
