I think Crusade would have been great for three reasons:
1. JMS & co would have learned from the mistakes of B5.  So assuming another planned arc, it would more likely have gona a lot smoother and without the awkward bumps B5 hit early on and beginning of season 5.
2. Unresolved Bester/Psi-Corps stuff.
3. Gary Cole.

I agree with you that Sinclair's dilemma was most interesting, especially when you throw in the political factor.

I actually think the affording justice line is good. *shrugs*

You are assuming that was Ellison's doing?  Were his specific contributions ever outlined in detail?

When Sinclair lamented their lack of ambassador, the mother said that an ambassador would agree with them.  This suggests that their beliefs are at least mainstream, almost certainly dominant.

Since I've watched this series 50 billion times, I'm using this re-watch to focus on other elements of each episode.  So I was looking at how in Believers they had to invent a new religion basically, with the whole egg mythology and whatnot, and how the prayers sounded Hebrew.  It's pretty brave and silly- I mean can

Was that Julie Benz (Darla on Buffy/Angel, Dexter's girlfriend, Rambo 4) as the other comic's wife?

Wow that is intense.  I hope to find time to read some of it, though.  I mean Trek fans have done worse/more/better/however-you-want-to-look-at-it, so it's kinda nice to see that same level of obsessive nerdosity towards B5.  And creepy, but hey, whatevs.
