The Real Housewives of Alvin and the Chipmunks: A Substantial Upgrade to Both Franchises
The Real Housewives of Alvin and the Chipmunks: A Substantial Upgrade to Both Franchises
stick with creator-owned Ellis. Astonishing X-men was (and perhaps still is) a complete wreck.
i definitely would NOT rec Watchmen. I've known plenty of people who 'were just getting into comics' and were simply outmatched by that beast. Watchmen is rightly considered a classic if not the best graphic novel of all time.
well, the finished art is presumably going through a different pair of hands to ink and color, right? Maybe his pencils are just being overwhelmed.
Summer of '79.
(Hopefully) Reasonable Doubts
I absolutely love the passion and excitement all of the commenters bring to this message-board and deeply appreciate the analysis Noel writes each and every week. That said, and yeah, here's the obligatory but, I can't disagree more about the quality of this week's episode.
30 Rock, which is horrible now, did have an exceptional out of the gate run. I can't remember a comedy that had a better first couple of episodes.
i, too, enjoyed the pilot. not super awesome (i set the benchmark for all animated tv on the ventures, a ridiculously high benchmark to meet) but definitely funny.
grungy old bear
I was wondering if someone could tell me how long time-wise it was from when the Losties first crashed and the present episodes island adventures.
some feel more egregious than others. The Liam thing from last night, hell even Charlotte, felt gratuitous. But at least the latter was involved in the plot, even as a device. Liam just spoke a few lines and exit stage left.
if he is i would bet the ant-farm he's doing it for the worst possible reasons. Maybe he will then set up a smoke monster-esque Jurassic park.
I got a House of Leaves vibe from Smokey's 'crazy mom' reveal. That novel, for me, is the epitome of a Mommy Issues story. Now I have to go back re-read it looking for smoke monsters.
Yummsh, Cmdr., my hat is off to you both.
he'll just bust out the MYSTERY THING from behind the locked door and make it pilot the sub. The MYSTERY THING being Desmond.
nope disagree with you guys.
Alice
Wasn't nearly the debacle i expected it to be.
Paranormal Activity has grossed $183 million dollars worldwide. The production budget (according boxofficemojo) was 15K. That is all you need to know on why Insurge exists.
thats an interesting theme. particularly as casual to not so casual viewers seem so bent out of shape about getting their damn answers. It turns out the place Richard was that nobody 'would believe him if he told them' was an internet comment board.
yeah, the ensemble is pretty fucking huge at this point. Less Jack / Ilana / kate, more Sawyer / Sun / Des
the only way that end result would be interesting is if Sawyer was Jacob and Jack was Blackie and Kate didn't factor into their determination in the slightest.
