If my internet browser had suckage I'd never leave the house.

I guess he could have arrested her, but that wouldn't have helped much making her trust him. I don't know if I'd call the Bennetts well-known criminals, seeings how one of them is the sheriff. But I do take your point. Seems like they could get Loretta out of there if they really wanted to.

I prefer the draft dodgers, Zoidberg.

Yeah, I thought it was okay too. McBoyle is the best thing in it.

I haven't read the book, but it seems like a mistake to assume Eastwood's attitude when making "Absolute Power" is his default setting when making a movie. I think it's possible for a filmmaker to put a lot of care into one project, and mail another in.

On the other hand, True Crime and Blood Work did seem kind of thrown together. That Eastwood does forgettable things doesn't diminish my appreciation of his classics, but it does make the dross seem especially drossy in contrast.

I assume he was a guy who usually got paid to beat other people up, just in this case the client and the target was the same person. But nowadays you can probably just go on craigslist and find someone to beat you up.

An informal poll of my friends puts it at 3/2 for Bullock with one abstaining and one later disqualified when it was revealed he hadn't seen Judge Dredd and was basing his opinion on Diane Lane in "Unfaithful".

Totally off the subject…
… and I apologize for that, but I need some help from the community at large in settling an argument between good friends that has simply spiraled out of control.

You forget that Gary has like, five people in his head telling him what to do. That gives him an advantage.

"Not only are we saving Peter, we're also saving the planet!"

Best line of the night…
Raylan to Art, after Art sends Raylan with Rachel to find her brother-in-law:

The game was a good example of my theory (okay, a lot of peoples' theory) that the longer the game comes out after the movie, the better the game is. The "King Arthur" game was the wet drizzling shits, to give an example of the other end of the extreme.

Sorry I'm late to the party. Missed this ep and had to catch in on demand.

Having scrolled down to make the point TimC has already made, I'll just add in my "Huzzah!"

Yeah, I got home from work about 5am the morning after the D&D episode, and the comments section was already north of 800. This ep had some laughs (the thing the got me was Troy's "notches"), but it seem to go over ground that has already been well covered.

This is one of my least favorite episodes for the reason noted in the review. The Anya/Xander break up got the Big Boo from me. There's just too much of that "on-again-off-again" bs on television. It doesn't even bother me that the couple ends up miserable, they could have gotten married and ended up miserable. If

Short answer, "no". Long answer, "no" with a lot more o's.

You're doing the lord's work, space pope.

I think Boyd is trying to go straight, but I liked Goggins performance at the end of the episode. He looked like a man about to fall off the wagon, but instead of liquor or drugs his weakness is violence and power.
