Some of my favorite moments in the series are the little scenes with Leo and Jed in the Oval Office.

I always thought of "The West Wing" as a retelling of greek Mythology, with Martin Sheen as Zeus.

@CFAmick: I would have to agree. The "COPS" episode has always stood out to me as being a fantastic hour (or 44 minutes) of television. I put it up there with the Jose Chung ep or the Jose Chung ep of "Millenium".

MoW vs Mythology
I was never a huge fan of the X-Files, but I caught most of the earlier seasons. In the initial run, I preferred the Mythology episodes and would usually be disappointed in the MoW's. Now that I occasionally catch it in syndication, I find myself only interested in the MoW's, partly because the

I enjoyed this.
That is all.

At my best I could only take ten.

Has anyone made a "Taken 2: Release the Taken" joke yet? Because to me, that seems to be the most obvious way to go.

@clio tobe: I prefer Laura Kightlinger's version of that.

I am, to borrow a phrase, cautiously optomistic.

The sniper looked to be one of Bo's men. (Boyd counts off his daddy's men in the car ride.) My assumption was the cartel kid's made Bo's men a better offer.

Going back to the pilot, I don't think Raylan missed intentionally, whether the writer's retconned it or not. I mean, he was only a centimeter off in a very tense quick draw. Raylan's a hell of a shot, but he's not the saint of killers or a grammaton cleric. He's a gunfighter, not a superhero.

It was a nice "I am Spartacus" moment.

fuck it, i'm a fanboy…
One last post, and then I'm going to take it easy for awhile. Maybe read the review. In case it hasn't been posted before:

My line of the night:

Holee shiiit…
That's a hell of a season finale.

Speaking of, I always get goosebumps at the end when Bartlett's acceptance speech plays over him and Leo walking through the airport.

"17 People". Fair point. Richard Schiff is amazing in that episode.

Hopper talked about how the director (Ridley Scott? Or the other Scott?) wanted to shoot that scene with all these weird camera angles but they didn't have time to do the setups, and Hopper said something to the effect of, "Hey, why not just point the camera at us and let us do it?"

These were two really great episodes…
Not surpassed until "Two Cathedrals" in my opinion, and they were full of many terrific moments. There was a lot of humor and drama, and West Wing was always able to go back and forth between the two very quickly—crackerjack dialog and real emotion.

Agreed. Raylan's "Shit" was the line of the night.
