What are you talking about? The STP album is a white star on a black background. The Bowie album is a black star on a white background.

I'd say Bowie's last three albums have all been pretty good, but they all feel like retreads. I enjoyed them, but if I feel like listening to Bowie, I never think to put one of those on. From what I've heard of ★, Bowie is trying something new for the first time since Earthling, but with much better results.
Does anyone remember an SNL sketch where they interview the Traveling Wilbury's and Bob Dylan would mumble an answer and then Tom Petty (played by David Spade) would "translate", except you couldn't understand him, so another Wilbury would "translate" that, etc?
So, same rules for New Pornographers, or is there a Neko Case effect?
This comment needs an ellipsis.
Just chiming in to be the annoying guy who says "none of the Taylors who are/were in Duran Duran are related."
It could be that Romana died in the time war, it could be that she is living in some sort of exile, but it could also be that BBC doesn't recognize the audio stories and she is still in e-space.
Or, the guy died after firing off every bullet and he just took the gun in hopes of finding ammunition somewhere else. Whatever the case I'm pretty sure your right and that conscience was not a factor.
The Weeping Angels are not "capable of 'freezing' who gazes upon them. And they are only made of stone when they are being looked at.
I've been a Bowie fan since I was 12 or 13 years old and I didn't notice that "Aladdin Sane" was a pun until I was about 30.
I listened to it for the first time about a month before my Dad died of esophageal cancer and 3 months before one of my best friends from high school died from bile duct cancer. I found very cathartic. It's sad and funny and frustrating but in the end uplifting, knowing that she survived.
Yeah. Seeing Bowie on screen really took me out of the moment. It's a shame, that his fame (and history with Warhol) has that effect. It makes it hard to actually judge the quality of his performance.
Yeah, but he also wrote "Piggies"
Okay, I guess maybe that was implied, but I don't remember Barry actually agreeing to any deal before Thawne spilled his guts.
So, there's one thing I don't get. After Thawne explained to Barry exactly what he needed to do to open the wormhole, why were they under any obligation to build his time machine for him? Couldn't they have just said, "Thanks for the info, now enjoy the rest of your life in that cell"?
Britta wasn't the only thing that was the worst this episode.
Somewhere Tony Danza is watching this and feeling left out.
Folsom Prison Blues is great, but weren't the cheers after "just to watch him die" added in the studio?
Can't we just stop referring to him altogether?
God, it just occurred to me that who knows how many women are out there who won't come forward because they don't want their child to do the math and realize that they are the product of rape.
