They even had to add Hakeem's memories in flashbacks to remind everyone why he would vote against his dad. It's been there all along, but they obviously knew they had to remind everyone because of so many other plots.

The consequence might be someone killing Anika.
I don't even think it's been enjoyable though. The only people I like are Daphne (pre-drama with her sister,) Layla, and I even liked Jeff Fordham because he was interesting in his awfulness. Everyone else is sucking the fun out of their own lives. (Layla isn't a bottle of sunshine but her misery made her music really…
I'm giving in to the AV Club hive mind and plan on watching Person of Interest for my annual end of year show binge. Don't fail me now!
I'm hate-watching Nashville and I don't know why I can't just give it up. It's awful people having awful things happening to them with awful teenage melodrama.
I completely agree with Molly's review and it's exactly how I feel about the show too. I'll keep watching through to the end, but it's just such a disappointment from where it started.
Tovah has been everywhere in the past few days, The Walking Dead, Flesh & Bone, and now this.
Settle For Me is my favorite, but I get the theme song stuck in my head all the time.
Thanks! Although, she might have him holding everything valuable, like the video and it doesn't mean he gave it to her if she can't return it from whoever gave it to her-although why then? Why show her that video at that time? (I mean, other than it being the fall finale.)
OR…she's giving up the ring of her dead fiancé and Oscar realizes that this is part of the process, plus her going on the mission, as the way for her to move forward. Then they can be together. Do you want to read my fanfiction or not?
I don't think he is her fiancé! Maybe her fiancé was killed by the corrupt FBI and she met Oscar along the way, falling in love again, and taking off her ring. They like twists and him being her fiancé seems too pedestrian.
Patterson is the best and Zapata has really grown on me. Showing vulnerability under a tough shell is a cliché, but the actress is doing a good job.
The Originals has good DVR viewing numbers, but if TVD isn't in syndication there's no way The Originals will get there. The Originals is losing retention worse than the others on the network (Reign was always low,) so syndication means nothing when no one is watching it now. (Only 800k people watched last week.)
I loved the episode, except for the climax (phrasing, I know) where Rebecca bust in on Paula, not because it happened, but because Rebecca's insight into what was going on with Paula came out of left field. She's been so wrapped up in her own life, and Josh's, that she knows Paula isn't happy, but applying her own…
Commenters who have binge-watched have said that there is much less dancing than the pilot implied which is disappointing and I can see it.
This was slow getting slower. (Binge watchers seem to have the right idea.) The reaction to her brother really did surprise me so I'm interested more than I had been. Daphne and her dad? Meh. Adorable little girl almost getting kicked out of school? Not sure why it's relevant other than all of them being broke.
The strip club dancing scenes have been the ones that I've enjoyed the most compared to the ballet ones, which seem so much briefer.
Ravi subscribing to the magic newsletter reminded me very much of Burton Guster.
Is it the meta story where Adam learned it? It worked in life and now it works at work?
The song creeps me out and I don't get it either, but I'm amused it can sway others. Should I try it on my own dad?
