When I break down the aspects of the show, there are many I don't like, but I'm still entertained. Catherine has a lot to do with that.

I didn't love The Goldbergs this week, but Coach Mellor is great. His "No press" line made me laugh out loud.

I think it's coming faster than not, but I have to say that Toby did amazing work in the premiere.

I only realized Kenna was missing when I looked at the picture above and I like Kenna.

The storylines are circular, but some I can stand more than others, i.e. Juliette and Layla. The Scarlett/Gunnar stuff is so tedious. Gunnar is not the best boyfriend in the world. Scarlett is not the best girlfriend in the world. Together, they are not the best.

I thought this was a great episode, but I do wish Erica would lose at least some of her edges some of the time and this one hinted towards it at the end by her spending time with Geoff/Jeff. I hope they can keep her smart and ambitious, but more friendly than to just Lainey.
