Rachel McAdams plays his ex. She's 36- so it is possible to cast a beautiful, talented woman close to his age. They could find one more.

Reminds me of the Maggie Gyllenhaal article. Bradley Cooper is 40. Emma Stone is 26.
I'm watching Season 2 before Season 3 begins. I've been reading the reviews and comments as I go, but the use of "DJ" as an honorific title for one Alak Tarr (#9 on your list) is fantastic!
Is "Who am I to judge?" condemnation? It's not a ringing endorsement of course, but compared to JPII or Benedict, that is a change. My point was he isn't as influential in practice as your post implied.
He has also asked for every Catholic to attend Mass every Sunday, to love one another as God loves them, and for the marriage rates to increase. He's influential, but unless people put it into practice, there is only so much he can do. It won't be enough for everyone, but I think his "Who am I to judge?" is a good…
"She is strong and did not need anyone." Haven't you ever done something yourself that is hard, but it would have been nice to have gotten some help? She didn't need anyone to rescue her, but some support and maybe intervention being offered doesn't make her weak.
Did she though? I think that was what was missing from the edit, her social skills. She was in an alliance, but we rarely saw her talking strategy other than in confessionals. It wasn't usually with anyone else who didn't come to her first. With Hali's question, I assume she did take a maternal role, but they never…
I already liked her from her work, but this was great. I'm definitely a big fan.
Exactly and I hate that I actually watched these scenes over again. She told him she made a list of the things she'd done. She said, "I told you I hated you when I felt ignored, missed my mom's final moments because I was kissing you, and then she died. All I needed was for you to tell me you felt something for me…
It's painful and you're lucky. The thing is I really thought they turned a corner on this and were ready to admit they make better friends than lovers. I hoped next season would be about them picking up the pieces of their friendship and the bond between the brothers would be the main focus of the story. That's what's…
Klaus did throw a graduation cap which beheaded a witch. That has to be in the running, right?
Matt Donovan already won that award.
There is a Reign review! It's just buried on the TV Club page in with the Wednesday shows versus the Thursday ones.
I don't regularly watch The Originals anymore, just off and on, which is hard actually to keep up with, but Elijah should have killed Cami for Klaus killing Gia. It should have happened right away too. It would have been Elijah getting his hands dirty and stooping to Klaus' level which he's tried to avoid, but he's…
They also said for TVD that Caroline would still be dealing with her mom's death next season, so they really can't be moving forward ahead too much.
I wonder what the ratings will look like next year. When The Originals lost Claire Holt, the amount of viewers dropped by 200k in the next episode and didn't recover except for maybe once afterwards and has been slowly declining as shows do. The early ratings for the finale are .7/1.45. That's up for them too.
She bound their souls once she saw their future, but I have no idea what that means.
The review was hard to find. It's out of order on the TV Club page.
That goodbye, especially Elena and Bonnie, was so moving. This season also had Damon coming back from the other side and his reunion with Stefan was so good. They're definitely some of my favorite moments through the run both from this season. Not coincidentally, both were about family and friendships.
I've had the time of my life…
