It really has gone down and the review nails so many of the issues. Bash popping out of nowhere is his forte.

Maybe that's the next episode. Elena will always (read: the next two episodes) have this inside of her so it may not be the last of it.

Human Elena is the best Elena.

I didn't love this episode, although I did really like a few moments, but this season started out with so much promise. They really seemed to have turned a corner from Season 5, but then things started to lose momentum and the plot holes got bigger. Does this mean all the Heretic stuff is going to continue into

Since this episode, Caroline's hatred of Damon and what he did to her has been swept under the rug and this season she has regressed some, but she was amazing! Turning her into a vampire was the best thing they did with her. Candice is very talented and Caroline is still my favorite character on the show.

I still think Erica needs a win, but I really enjoyed this episode. Erica wasn't the rational, serious downer, but was part of the story. Her hug with Barry at the end was well-earned.

Zac Efron in Neighbors too.

The North remembers! Shirin will get a vote and she's currently with the people who seem to like her the most on the jury.

"Don't clap" made me laugh.

But Elias is on that show with Jason Beghe. In an alternate timeline, it could have been them in a crossover promo picture!

Katherine died because Silas took it from her. That one cure in Katherine cured two, then three vampires. (Thanks SatelliteInternetIsSkynet for reminding me about that a few episodes ago.) You have to keep it in your system or the aging process begins. Elena's only been a vampire a year or two. She should be more than

This episode didn't do much for me, although I got emotional when Caroline was letting herself grieve. I'm still not sure what I think about Lily. Bonnie was the absolute best part though.

Wouldn't Damon just suck it out of Elena? She's only been a vampire for a few years. Her body, in theory, should handle aging that much without any issues. He would be the one who would have to keep it.

Francis was my guess as well, but it is still possible Elizabeth was behind it. There also have to be Catherine/Narcisse-type schemers at English court.

The Francis-Mary stuff was repetitive, literally, but if I ignore them and Conde I don't think this was too bad of an episode at all. Kenna was definitely the highlight for me. She was her curious self.

I completely agree about Narcisse, Catherine, and Lola.

I'm a she (the irony in the username!) and still not interested. If I wanted to see handsome Leo I'd watch Blood Diamond or The Departed.

Not because someone recommended it, but because of the world's over the top reaction to it…Titantic. Haven't seen it. I will not see it, purely out of spite.

There is irony too in Shirin presumably reading letters from the family Will thinks she doesn't have. I'm sure it stung, but what he did was completely outrageous and out of line.

At what personal toll? She should encourage their behavior in their awfulness? She might be able to deal with Dan, but there is only so much someone can take…someone who has been abused no less. I'm sure her eyes are on the prize, but there has to be a better way.
