I feel bad for how much I've been disliking Stefan this season. I can't remember having such strong feelings about him good or bad in a long time. He was interesting when he had that little fling with Katherine last season.

So everyone cheated. That's message I got from this episode. Every. Single. One.
It's not a gender thing at all. If Stefan flipped the switch this time because of grief he was going through and wasn't a ripper, yes, Elena would try to save him and it would be just as groan-worthy.
He joins a long list.
Caroline without her humanity is great. She's clever and destructive, but in a controlled way. Fun stuff.
He didn't actually have to see her. Last week it was him and Joaquin literally watching her wash dishes in the nude. They didn't have to do that and get offended by it.
It will be interesting to see how he manages things socially as it goes on. Right now he has Joaquin to sneer with, but he has to turn on the charm at some point to get ahead.
His God complex is growing by leaps and bounds, but I think it's purely because he sees his own mortality. His decisions are growing more desperate and hopefully he'll hit rock bottom and start to repair his relationships before he dies. I think he's been unlikeable from the start. It's just now the scope is bigger.
JT oozed charisma that hasn't been seen in a long time. That man could get anyone to do anything, especially Taj and Stephen. Joe has been a leader at camp and in challenges, but he hasn't been a convincing leader to the people voting with him. Not showing him talking strategy doesn't help. Will didn't vote with him…
Strategically, he may come through with some clever plotting, until then, watching him sneer at the tribe he's on isn't fun.
My love for Malcolm knows no bounds! Joe seems ok enough, but he's lacking charisma. He's much prettier than Malcolm.
Jenn and Joe like Malcolm and Denise? No. I really hope not.
She wasn't doing it for a jury vote, but I wondered if it was a sympathy thing. She was certainly the nicest to Nina at tribal and I thought her explanation of why Nina felt so ostracized was honest and pretty kind.
The Carolyn thing was weird, but I thought she volunteered to keep the fire going, so she wasn't being completely blatant why she wasn't looking. They needed someone to do it. I would liked to have seen her lying to them about it though.
He's very uptight and his disdain at everything doesn't make him fun to watch or root for.
I actually loved this episode. One of the criticisms in these reviews has been the breakneck pace resulting in dropped plots. This episode had a lot of things happen, but it didn't have a gun pulled, Lucious confessing to be the father, and fifty other things. It was soapy and goofy, but I thought it was one of the…
I thought Cookie's reaction was perfectly in character for Cookie. She blew up and was in denial. Then she calmed down and did some research to find out what the diagnosis means. (She's also looking at Rhonda in a new way.) I know there's only one episode left, but I hope to see more Cookie and Andre next season.
During the flashback, Lucious gave Olivia a look and that's when I suspected it, but I didn't think he would confess it and in the same episode.
Jamal's enthusiasm for Hakeem's new song too was great. They both have a shared passion for music and their support of each other is such a fun relationship to watch.
There's some Covert Affairs mixed in there too, but yup.
