Kai siphons everything, so Elena would turn human and die (again) if the magic is gone from her. I don't think he could just get the compulsion. Who would trust him to stop?

I'm sure they're working on whoever it is. There are pros and cons (he's in his mid-30s, newly engaged, probably hard to get new parts spending most of the year in Atlanta, still in the same role for 6 years with your ex, lots of money, gets to direct an episode or two, crazed fan attention,) but what it could do the…
Mary asking Greer about what could have happened with Castleroy, like giving the Protestants money and having them in their home was a little too on the money. That's exactly what happened. I'm sure Greer will be back, but she needs a little time figure things out. It's sad because she's been the only close friend…
I loved Kenna's nightgown/bustier thingy.
I agree that it was one of the best episodes of the season. There was a lightness about it. Bash's freak out didn't make sense to me, but like the review said, he was actually interesting the rest of the time.
I agree.
That glass-breaking scene was amazing. Elijah was amazing. I just want Klaus and Caroline to rule the world together. BRB—- need to write some fanfiction.
While Jo was right there, Damon should have done it. It was totally the perfect time for him to do it. He'd just killed someone earlier and he was the one that released Kai in the first place. Jo has dedicated her life to saving people so I can see her being a little hesitant to take a life, but this was too far. Not…
People's hatred of Tyler always makes me laugh. He doesn't really bother me, but he is always used to screw things up.
Damon should have killed Kai right then and there. There really is no excuse once the merge happened and Luke lost, but again, big things can only happen in certain episodes, which drives me crazy. Yes, Luke died, but it was such a foregone conclusion it didn't mean anything.
Their showdown better be great, because they've been building it up all season. It's been too long since she's been back and a full member of the group.
I think he was incredibly powerful during his Traveler time, except he didn't get to use it on Jo who he was saving it for. He knew it would be fading, which is why I think he went for Damon's plan to merge right away. It always had a time limit.
Can't it be epic and not endgame? I think one of the 3 still hasn't signed for next year and Paul said he did. I have to believe it's Ian. Can they be the final "epic" couple without him? Maybe he'll die and next season will be about Elena putting the pieces back together, but for real this time. The big problem is…
I don't like Klaus half as much as on The Originals. He can be slightly mellowed by the family relationships, but he used to make things happen and take risks. Now he can only do that for the season premieres and mid-season finales.
Yes and yes. Enzo and Klaus are different, but since I love Klaus more than I've ever even liked Enzo, I don't want them to use Caroline to show a variation of what might have been with Klaus.
Dragging out Liz's death is the worst. I'd actually heard about the synopsis from a future episode and knew she wouldn't die. Why would they do that?
Right, why would we care about the coven? All we've seen is Luke, Jo, Liv, and the dad. How many are there? Why are they so special? Liv and Luke screwed up the whole Markos thing once, but what purpose do they serve?
Right, they find Anna lurking about Gillingham's a few years after Mr. Green's death and now they found the displaced Russian, but no hints of Michael.
Bash and Francis working together does usually lead to terrible things, but I liked seeing more Bash. His speech to Kenna about what kind of person he is was great. My affection for Kenna goes up and down, but my love for Greer is constant.
That red dress was STUNNING!!!!
