She looked great throughout the episode. I also really liked the ecru outfit she was in when she told her mother to get out.

Yeah, Matt was put in the safe by Nadia during the 100th. Like holland17 said I can't remember why either.

I agree that it was a lot for Katherine to find out Nadia still existed, but she had opportunities to spend just a little time with Nadia, who basically begged her and she didn't. (Nadia was also 500 years old herself. She needed some acknowledgement she was important versus actual parenting.) Katherine showed a lot

Leslie is so ambitious though and this would have been a dream job. She doesn't have much of a career in Pawnee anymore. (She twisted Ron's arm to get back there.) Her best friend just left. Her husband was off in Washington working towards his dream while they were together. It's too bad she didn't take the offer.

This is it for me. I'm not against Elena coming back, but I want the Elena back I can root for and she's been gone a while.

Were they on the outs with the Travelers after Gregor and the Traveler witch woman in the tomb were killed? They might not have gotten the help they wanted.

I get where you're coming from and I'm curious how this will play out, but I'm not sure it's a second-place kind of thing. I'm not sure it means a love is any less beautiful or true if it's not chosen first. I also think Mary's feelings about Bash have been ambiguous enough that it's fairly one-sided at this point.

I don't think it's too spoilery, but apparently a big bad Traveler is headed their way. They might be trying to re-create a Klaus situation when he's introduced at the end of a season to build into the one following?

I actually thought for a minute Katherine had jumped into Matt's body when Matt was talking to Nadia so sweetly. Katherine is smart enough that everything around her makes me suspicious.

Do not go on Tumblr. There are huge contingents of Frary shippers on there. Weren't they the ones who threatened the boycott when he was out of an episode or two?

Not every romance has to happen at the very same time though. Even on shows with long-term triangles they come and go between the parties over long periods of time, not this quickly. The prophecy says Francis will be dead in a year, correct? The triangle could be Bash pining after Mary, but watching her cheat on the

Cause of death? Toby's Smug Face.

I think it's more romantic for Mary and Bash to be together after Francis dies versus her having an affair with him. It could be a long wait though where they could be alienating shippers.

I didn't love this episode, but it definitely changed the stakes and Mary and Francis actually got married. I felt terribly for Bash, but I can't say I'm shocked.

Her wedding dress was STUNNING! I didn't like the teeny ponytail though.

I cringed so much during that.

I loved this one. Katherine was a terrible mother, but her trying to comfort Nadia was touching. Bonnie was fantastic and she had such empathy for Nadia.

I agree with 99% of this, except while Elena's friends might have been slow on the uptake they have all sacrificed a lot for her over the years. She often does it for them too, but it's not as if they've turned their back on her.

I also loved this one and agreed that I thought getting Elena back would have required more than the Traveler knife.

Elena doesn't have to be human for me, but how about seeing what she's like as a vampire without a sire bond, Katherine's possession, or a ripper virus?
