The best thing for Jenelle is to be off television. Hopefully MTV has realized that they need to stop enabling her. I think the end of the show is more about ratings dipping than a genuine concern about a clearly ill, floundering young woman.

I don't understand why Ru didn't make Roxxxy sashay away and THEN had us vote between alaska and jinkx. i was probably team jinkx for most of the season, but the past few episodes alaska has turned it out. she was by far the best last night, and the week before. alaska's looks might have been repetitive, but they

i still don't entirely know what to do with the caroline/tyler scene…. i kept waiting for some weird silas talk. otherwise i thought this worked better than carrie did, partially because i am graduating in two weeks and welcome any distraction, and also because the humanity parade failed even against elena's wishes

how i wish jack white would scurry back to meg, though i know this will never, ever happen

i happen to think "mystery date" is pretty excellent

I live right across the street from casa!!! they've seen so much of my money…

ahh yes! I live in Athens, so it's always lovely when our local staples find some recognition beyond our little college town. Did you go to OU, Marah?

i hoped that after the great episode, "sacrifice," the show would pick up momentum but tonight's episode and one from last week were both snoozes. i don't get it. last season was SO fun, and this second season has been a mess—and not a particularly interesting one.

i recently watched the secret circle (in between phoebe's last appearance on TVD and this one), which has made me like hayley more. i wasn't interested in the originals show a few months ago, but i'm at least willing to give it a chance now. i actually disagree about caroline's phone calls to tyler; i find them very

Like you, any element of surprise was ruined for me. Ugh. I feel like this finale never had any tension, high emotional stakes, or suspense.
I loved the set up of the elegant sit-down meal, after seeing the chefs' processes in responding to the (usually open-ended) prompts for their courses. This finale felt cold and

I love this song, always have, always will. The whole album is perfect. I remember listening to it on the bus to away tennis matches, which is a pretty weird music choice if you're looking to get amped up before a match… I always return to this album in the fall months especially.

It's really a shame that the majority of the middling drag queens seem to be so hung up on being fishy that they've overlooked something equally important to being a good drag queen: humor. I like Jinkx so much because she's a little campy, but she's actually just REALLY funny, and I really felt for her when she was

oh, well i guess i can live with that since this was such a strong episode and that's only a 3 week break.

I think this is possibly the best episode since the season 2 finale and the last 10 minutes of the season 3 finale. I'm really excited to see how much Elena's character will grow from finally being able to experience and enjoy the primal side of vampirism. I didn't have a problem with Damon encouraging Elena to turn

i don't know… vivienne WAS one of the prettiest queens in the group, but seemed to be so arrogant that she never bothered to develop other skills (like the popular girls who made fun of us in high school).

i stand corrected mr. mcpickleshitter

i thought that it was Lady Bunny who swore like that, not Ru's mother.

so if you bone mary crawley that's basically a death sentence, right?

nothing says MERRY CHRISTMAS from downton abbey like another dead crawley

Thanks so much for posting this. I had surgery a couple of months ago and spent most of the painkiller haze re-watching the series in order. A favorite of mine will ALWAYS be "The After Hours."  Sorry not to see it on the list, but I'm really looking forward to the return of the reviews!
