Oh, it came off as shade to me. Not malice or bitterness, but definitely shade. And the whole "who? Me? I thought it was a compliment!" schtick afterwards was disingenuous as hell. She knew exactly what she was saying.

As far as I'm concerned, this was the outcome we should've got last time Darienne and Ben lipsynced against each other anyway.
She really was tremendous in The Opposite Of Sex. I still quote that movie on a near-daily basis.
Also, "SKOOPIN" was one of the funniest things that happened in that whole season.
Yeah, but don't forget Kass knows how to read people too! She might beat him to it.
I wouldn't hate him as much if he didn't sit there in every tribal council digging his tongue into his chin.
My question is I WANT AN APOLOGY.
The best part was how she said it in the voice of a 12-year-old boy.
Spencer sure did look upset that he didn't get to look inside Tony's bag of tricks, if you know what I mean.
Spencer's sniffy impression of Woo was not necessary. Jeremiah writing "Woooooooooooooooooooo" down on his parchment like he was voting for a ghost was hilarious, though.
Serving mumps realness.
If the Miss Whatever The Fuck Pageant isn't a real drag competition, it certainly should be.
With hindsight, I admit I was being unfairly harsh. Chaz Bono was the worst guest judge this season, but Neil Patrick Harris is a close second.
I'm fairly sure he's straight.
"Neil offers some particularly insightful and witty critiques" - sorry, but I didn't see that at all. I actually thought he was one of the worst (if not the) worst guest judges this season and had little to say that was of any use - and his criticism of Darienne's makeover was baffling to me. "I didn't get the goth…
I love gumbo.
I noticed Darienne giving Ben a big friendly smile on the runway as they stood next to each other, so that "feud" clearly wasn't as heavy in real life as it's been edited to look.
I feel like the edit is shoving Spencer at me too much going "like this guy! Like him!" But all of his confessionals are too bland, and his gameplay is too passive, for me to really warm to him.
I've been watching Amazon in my downtime recently: I just got to the tribe swap episode, and it tickled me enormously that all the men she'd spent about two days with did creditable jobs of spelling Jeanne's name correctly, and Heidi who'd been with her since the beginning spelt it "Gene".
Well, they're both balding.
