"I thought I'd come into the city for a little Monicuddle."
I'm a bit disappointed that there's a misquote in the review - unless I'm remembering a different scene, Judy's reaction to learning that the curry taste is, in fact, curry is a hilariously exaggerated "mmmmmmm!", with the note of disgust on Christina Pickles' face being absolutely perfect. I too loved the Geller…
The AV Club
Please don't overlook our righteous rage.
Well, maybe I don't need your money. Wait, wait, I said "maybe"!
This show must do most of the work of the Danish tourist board for them. I'm already trying to figure out if I can afford to go to Copenhagen on holiday this year.
@avclub-cd3695fb409b3ce6dc60ca44b08983ac:disqus I'd love to see more of the other TV1 stuff. I'd like it if Ulrik got a bit more stuff to do other than deliver whatever broadcasts Katrine isn't around for, although I do always enjoy his irritated face in the background every time he realises he's second fiddle.
I am making this decision based entirely on the gifs I've seen on Tumblr as we've barely got to Will in the UK yet, but I definitely support your Gunnar/Will theory.
I think it's because all the episode titles are supposed to end "…in Apartment 23", but I might have just made that up to help me sleep at night.
Hugh Dancy's character was season two, wasn't he? I'm in the UK and I don't think we've actually had season three yet over here (and after reading the comments here, I'm wondering if I want to watch it at all), but Hugh Dancy's character and his love of bears have already been and gone.
Yep. Although we still pronounce "urine" as "yur-inn", just to frustrate and confuse everyone else.
Heh, I wondered how long it would be before someone who understands politics much better than I do would come along to correct me. There are some sizeable gaps in my understanding of the Lib Dems - perhaps that's why I voted for them in 2010. (Well, that and I lived in a safe Labour seat, so I knew that I could vote…
Are they actually "surging ahead", though? I mean, they've had a spike in the votes and got some councillors in at the last set of local elections (although given that UKIP's only two policies are "withdraw from the EU" and "kick the gays in the face", I'm not sure precisely what they hope to achieve at local level),…
As far as the Conservative/Lib Dem coalition goes: you're right, it makes no sense from an ideological point of view, but the Conservatives failed to win enough seats for an outright majority and the coalition with the Lib Dems was the most straightforward way of getting it. The Lib Dems went for it because they were…
Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be like season two when there were massive chunks of episodes where the dialogue was all in English?
@avclub-3bca94e353e508c1a49bf984fc5c346d:disqus With guest appearances from Nadia from New Girl, I hope.
If both Betrayal and Revenge survive this season, I hope they commission a series called Alliance for 8pm next year.
My boyfriend got me into Survivor, but decided not to watch this season (largely because he's only seen about half the seasons and missed a lot of the Favorites playing the first time round, so he wanted to wait until he'd seen more of them before watching this one). He did, however, check out forums for spoilers and…
It's because SHE CAN GET LOUD TOO WHAT THE FUCK.
So Jeff is Reynold?
I'd recommend Pearl Islands, definitely. Philippines was my first season and I watched Pearl Islands in the break between that one and this and thoroughly enjoyed it - even the twist.
