Ongina yes, Delta no. I'm no fan of Mimi, but I'd honestly have taken her back every time over the bottomless sinkhole of self-pity that was Delta Work.

I'm not that disappointed about losing Pandora - I liked her a lot in season two and thought she was eliminated for fairly spurious reasons, but I also thought that when she came back for last year's recap show her comedy was kind of laboured and unfunny - Mariah actually made me laugh a lot more. So I had mixed…

The best moment of this episode, as my boyfriend pointed out, was Katie saying "I feel like the biggest idiot in the world", just as the camera cut pointedly to Carter.

"The goat farmers are apparently under the impression that great people usually win The Amazing Race. I’m not sure history supports that conclusion."

Me too - if you can't be bothered to race, you don't deserve to stay in. Also it'd be easier for me as a viewer, because when they're cutting between the teams quickly I can't always tell the difference between the Substitute Teachers and the Goat Farmers, so I'm rooting for either of those to be eliminated as soon as…

I loved it - possibly the best cast of any version of the Amazing Race, I thought. After the first couple of eliminations, there wasn't a single team left that I didn't love. Lucy & Emilia getting arrested after accidentally ram-raiding a palace in Dubai is one of my all-time favourite Race moments.

My favourite development comes (I think) next week when Jack realises that being gay means he needs a different hairstyle.

It's all a bit foggy because it was a while ago, but I remember hearing about it too. And I'm fairly sure I remember him in a TV interview being all "yeah, season finale, I have to kiss a guy again" (spoilers) and trying to pass it off as a joke but genuinely not sounding terribly pleased about it.

I still worry about that now, and I'm fairly certain this episode is at least partly to blame.
