Hey, I watched it this weekend too!  It's definitely flawed, but it really felt like the kind of show Don Bellisario might've made during the Magnum P.I. years.  And Andre Braugher kicked ass.

To the "Friends" group's credit, a lot of their establishing stuff was actually shot in NYC, at least.  The apartment building, the diner where Monica worked for a while… also I never took one of those movie-locations tours of NYC, why do you ask?
