Todd, would 'Ice' from season one fit your description? The inspiration was clearly "The Thing," but nevertheless the relational DNA is still there. Mulder even had a Jack Torrance-type freakout in it!

Don't give me that! Where's my belt!?

Someone needs to flick this Chrisley fella in the face.

I genuinely feel bad for Sonia for having this show consume at least two hours of her life every week. She could have read a great book in the interim! You just want to tell her to keep her chin up!

To paraphrase Jon Stewart, The Following is in an abusive relationship with it's viewers and they keep coming back for more.

Actually the name of the movie was "Sex Drive." (hoho) Shame that I remember that.

Wouldn't that be grand? Hannibal having an unannounced crossover with this show just to eat all the characters, which would in turn cause it's cancelation. Now, that's something I can get behind!

And yet more people watch The Following and not Hannibal… Nothing makes sense anymore!

Cops catch him running a Meth lab? He better call Saul!

You have good tastes?

Well, you what they say Drake… You run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. You run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.

I feel like this is an inside joke that only she "gets." If not, this a sad day, she's given up trying!

Never before have I heard the word 'meta' so many times than I have here over the space of these three weeks. Frankly, it's been overkill.

Remember when Steven Moffat announced over Twitter that Sophia Myles would return as Madame de Pompadour to the show? Whatever happened to that?

Rumor has it that the film was originally titled, "Stockholm," yet the Reitman rejected it because "he didn't get it"

Don't forget Francesca!

If it has a breakfast scene, I'm there.

This show like maiming women in horrible, irreversible detail, don't they? I knew we were in trouble last week when our villain of the episode shot a poor actress in the face to fake his wife's death. It takes great precision, yet impulsive recklessness, to be this banal and boorish.

Everyone say it together now!

Stop wit those frickin' drugs, they're making your mind into mush!
